First introduced in Modern Warfare (2019) and the original iteration of Call of Duty: Warzone, Tactical Sprint — commonly known as just Tac Sprint — quickly became a staple for player movement, significantly enhancing speed and mobility.

Although the mechanic has evolved with each developer’s adjustments, it has never fully reverted to its original functionality where players could reset Tactical Sprint by slide canceling. With the integration of Black Ops 6, however, players can now access the much-loved Unlimited Tac Sprint. Here’s how you can unlock this unlimited feature in the game.

In Black Ops 6’s iteration of Warzone, players can use unlimited Tactical Sprint through two methods: equipping the newly introduced Sprinter Perk or utilizing the dedicated Melee slot.

Dedicated Loadout Melee Explained

With the integration of Black Ops 6 into Warzone, players now have access to a dedicated Melee weapon at all times, in addition to their two main weapons — whether it’s a primary and secondary or dual primary obtained from a custom loadout.

The Melee weapon can be equipped by simply holding the Melee command on your controller or keyboard or weapon cycle, enabling unlimited Tactical Sprint while in use. Since this option is always available, it’s perfect for rotating between points of interest or escaping intense combat situations, allowing you to sprint continuously without slowing down to recover.

Sprinter Perk Explained

With the multiple updates to the Perk system, Warzone introduces a new option called Sprinter, tailored for players who prioritize movement. This Perk grants unlimited Tactical Sprint, recreating the fast-paced feel of the original gameplay experience.

While equipping Sprinter means sacrificing other Perk 2 options in your loadout, the ability to bypass the Tactical Sprint cooldown can be a game-changer. To unlock it, players need to reach Level 32. Once unlocked, add it to your custom loadout before starting a match. During a match, just locate or purchase a Loadout Drop from the Buy Station and grab your loadout. This will automatically activate your chosen perks, allowing you to take full advantage of Sprinter.
