All of the content for Call of Duty Season 3 Reloaded in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has officially been revealed. There is a lot of new stuff to talk about including a new map and a famous face dropping into Call of Duty on May 10.
Season 3 has been out in MW2 and Warzone for some time now and it brought with it a lot of changes. It introduced multiple new weapons, the Trophy Hunt event, and a slew of meta changes to switch up combat across both games. Now, the Season 3 Reloaded is just a week away, and it's bringing even more content with it, including a famous athlete that Call of Duty has been teasing for some time.
Both games are getting two new fully-automatic handguns, the FTAC Siege and GS Magna, as well as a Throwing Star weapon. The GS Magna is the very first .50 caliber fully automatic handgun ever introduced to a Call of Duty game, so it's definitely going to be the thing to try out when this patch drops. Both MW2 and Warzone 2 are also getting a brand-new operator, the basketball legend Kevin Durant. He'll only be available in a limited-time store bundle, though, so all the Phoenix Suns fans out there need to be quick to make sure they lock down the MVP before he's gone.
Modern Warfare 2 will be getting a new 6v6 multiplayer map called Alboran Hatchery. It's supposed to be a medium-sized map apparently set at a "remote, windswept facility." Warzone 2 is getting perhaps one of the most exciting additions in Season 3 Reloaded with its own long-awaited Ranked Play. The experience is still in beta, but it looks very promising with a complex ranking system based on a skill rating from match performance and seasonal rewards depending on each player's placement. The best guns in Warzone 2 will become more important than ever as players try to achieve Iridescent ranking.
There's a massive amount of new content coming to Season 3 Reloaded in both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. All of the complex information, from the little balance changes to any other stuff not included here, can be found on the Call of Duty blog's official patch notes post that gives out every little detail. It's definitely going to be a patch that leads to major changes in the meta for both games, as well as the beginning of a more heavily-competitive meta for Warzone 2 with its new Ranked Play. Make sure to learn the best points to hold down on each Warzone 2 map to get the ranking up as high as possible.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2 are available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
