Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Lets Players Interrogate Enemies

In a post on the official Call of Duty: Warzone 2 blog, the developers discussed several changes to gameplay elements in the upcoming title and introduced a brand-new gameplay mechanic, enemy interrogations. Available when playing one of Warzone 2's squad-based modes, players can now choose to interrogate downed enemies rather than killing them. Interrogating enemies will briefly highlight the locations of their allies on the minimap and outline their location in the environment, providing a huge tactical advantage.

As part of the overview of the new mechanic, the developers explain how they’ve worked to keep interrogations from being overpowered. Downed players will have the ability to call for help while being interrogated, marking their location for their teammates, with the effects from successful interrogations ceasing if the downed player dies or is revived. This should help ensure that interrogating enemies comes with a level of potential risk equal to the possible reward.
