Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - All Plate Carrier Upgrades…

While progressing through the campaign of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players will have to scavenge for weapons and equipment in six of the fourteen missions. These Open Combat Area missions, as the game calls them, will drop players into an unmapped area and require the area to be searched for supply crates, armaments (known more commonly as killstreaks), and equipment like plate carrier upgrades. When players find the plate carrier upgrades they will expand their armor vest adding a plate slot.

Players will start the mission with a single plate slot in their vest and can find two plate upgrades on each Open Combat Area mission. If players can find all twelve plate upgrades they will unlock the Bulletproof Achievement on PC and Xbox or the Bulletproof bronze trophy on PlayStation.

Precious Cargo

Players will find the first plate carrier upgrade i n a blue shipping container in D-8. This shipping container is stacked on another - players will have to climb up from the North side where a supply crate can be seen.

Players will find another plate carrier upgrade in the building in E-7 by the supply crate on the East side of the room.

Reactor

Players will find the first plate vest upgrade on Reactor inside the warehouse in B-2 on the first floor. Players will also find an ascender nearby.

The second plate upgrade in Reactor is in the fire station in D-6 on the first floor. Enter the station from the windows on the West side and grab the Plate Carrier hanging on the coat rack.

Crash Site

The first vest can be found in the building E-5 where a weapon supply crate can be found. Head out back and search the storage room to find the plate carrier upgrade on top of a chair.

The second plate vest upgrade in Crash Site is located in the house in D-4 in the Northwest room.

Oligarch

The first plate vest is located in D-4 near where the heavy armored guard and the HVI are located. After all nearby enemies are defeated, check the area by the short end of the bar for the plate upgrade along with a supply crate and an ascender.

The second plate vest in oligarch is i n C-2 by the fountain leading to the mansion. Look behind the blue SUV for the supply crate and find the plate carrier upgrade nearby.

Highrise

The first plate upgrade in Highrise is on the sixth floor in D-4. Look in the outer rooms on the West side of the building and find the upgrade tucked in a laundry room.

The second plate vest upgrade in Highrise is on the seventh floor on the East end of the building. After dispatching all enemies on the floor search for a stuck door in the G-3/G-4 sectors of the map. Once found, follow the wall to the left of the door around the corner to the broken wall - shoot the chair out from behind the door to access the room and find the armor upgrade inside by a supply crate.

Gora Dam

Players can find a vest upgrade in C-5 in Gora Dam in the back of an open cargo truck. Look on the northwest area of the road going by the bomb bunker to find the cargo truck, climb in the back, and grab the plate carrier upgrade.

Players will find the second plate carrier upgrade in another truck located in H-4. Search the parking lot north of the large building in H-5 for the white cargo truck and find the vest upgrade in the back along with two weapon supply crates.
