Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Update 1.10 officially kicked off Season 1 for the game, adding a Battle Pass, new maps, game modes, and more for fans of the popular first-person shooter to tackle. While the update made many changes that were well-received by fans, it also removed some fan favorite game modes, creating a bit of backlash as a result. Infinity Ward has been quick to address this fan backlash, however, adding back a fan favorite playlist in an update that is rolling out to user today.

Upon downloading the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare update, fans will notice that the Crash 24/7 playlist has been replaced by Shoot House 24/7. Shoot House 24/7 has been one of the most popular playlists in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare since the map was added to the game, and many fans were upset to see it go. It's back for now, but it's possible that Infinity Ward will eventually slot a different map into its spot in a different update.

One map that it would make a great deal of sense to have a 24/7 playlist is Shipment. The classic Call of Duty 4 Shipment map is coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as both a standard multiplayer map and a Gunfight map. Since Shoot House and Shipment are both small maps, it seems like there wouldn't be nearly the same amount of backlash if Infinity Ward added a Shipment 24/7 playlist in place of Shoot House 24/7 in a future update.

There are some other changes made in the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare update, including fixes for some of the Spec Ops co-op missions, as well as maps being added to existing playlists. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players can now play on the Grazna Raid and Arklov Peak maps in Hardcore TDM, with the latter also added to Hardcore Headquarters. The Docks map has also been added back to the 2v2 Gunfight map rotation, though it's unclear why it was removed in the first place.

This Call of Duty: Modern Warfare update isn't all that significant in the long run, but more substantial updates are planned in the coming weeks. Besides new maps, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 1 will also be adding new game modes, like Infected and Gunfight OSP, not to mention even more Spec Ops missions. Hopefully one of these updates will also see the return of Gun Game, which was also removed in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Update 1.10, but that remains to be seen.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
