On February 19, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare received a patch that addressed some of the game's lingering technical issues, including the Jockworth Gunfight bug. However, it seems that the update has caused some new issues to arise in the popular first-person shooter, with some players now reporting that their perks are simply not working as intended.

Reddit user -Stun- posted to Reddit about their Quick Fix perk not working in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. In Modern Warfare, Quick Fix is supposed to heal the player instantly, but it simply didn't work when Stun attempted to use it. There are guns in the game that can delay health regeneration, but other users have reported the same problem as Stun, meaning that this is more likely a bug than just a misunderstanding.

Users reported issues with other perks since the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare February 19 update as well. This includes the High Alert perk, which Reddit user vKEVUv has said "doesn't activate at all" during some matches in the game. Other Reddit users added their own experiences with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare perks being bugged since the new update, so it does seem to be a somewhat widespread issue.

Infinity Ward has yet to acknowledge the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare perk bugs, but hopefully these get ironed out sooner rather than later. Infinity Ward is generally quick to address problems in the game, releasing new updates for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare every week that attempt to fix issues while also balancing different aspects of the game and adding substantial new content.

Speaking of new content, there is plenty for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players to look forward to in the near future. Modern Warfare Season 2 is in full swing, giving players the chance to play on new maps, modes, and more, with even more new content on the way in the coming weeks.

If rumors are to be believed, some of this new content will include the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone battle royale mode. A number of leaks and official teases from Infinity Ward have more or less confirmed that battle royale is coming to the game, but it's unclear exactly when the mode will be made available to fans. Hopefully more information on that front, as well as info on when these perk bugs will be fixed, come sooner rather than later.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
