The Makarov's Return event comes to Modern Warfare 3 while the previously launched Double XP event is still live, which runs from November 22 to November 27. In addition to earning Double XP this holiday weekend, players can earn Makarov-themed rewards. Makarov, a recurring character within the Modern Warfare franchise, is a villain hellbent on starting World War 3. This new installment comes after Modern Warfare 3's recent True Legends event, which honored military veterans.
