Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has added three exciting playlists for fans to check out while they take advantage of the game's Double XP event. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 may have the lowest overall review score out of any main series Call of Duty game, but it has received some praise for its multiplayer.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer has been mostly well-received, though it's not without its problems. Right now, a weird snake glitch is messing up online matches, and the game launched without some fan favorite game modes, like Gunfight. These issues will be addressed in future Modern Warfare 3 updates, but in the meantime, Call of Duty fans can check out three new playlists while enjoying Double XP.

December 6 is Going to Be a Huge Day for Call of Duty: MW3 Fans

Wednesday, December 6 is going to be an absolutely massive day for fans of the recently-released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Modern Warfare 3 Double XP is available now and will be in the game until November 27. While Modern Warfare 3 players are racking up kills in multiplayer, they can check out three new playlists: the return of fan favorite game mode Gun Game, 10v10 Mosh Pit, and Rust 24/7, with the latter likely to be especially popular among the MW3 player base. The 10v10 Mosh Pit consists of the game's Medium to Large sized maps, whereas all the Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer maps appear to be represented in Gun Game. It's worth pointing out that Double XP applies to Zombies as well.

Some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players may be frustrated that this Double XP event is happening before they can level up the Season 1 Battle Pass. As it stands, hardcore Call of Duty fans may have already hit the MW3 max level cap days ago, and so they will only benefit from this event when it comes to leveling their weapons and finishing up the MW2 Season 6 Battle Pass, if they haven't done so already.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 will officially kick off on December 6, at which point fans will have a brand-new Battle Pass to complete and those that have hit the multiplayer max level will be able to level up their rank again. So while some fans may not be able to take full advantage of this event, it's worth pointing out that there will certainly be more Double XP events in Modern Warfare 3 in the weeks and months ahead.

While fans wait to learn more about the future of Modern Warfare 3, they can hop into the Gun Game, 10v10 Mosh Pit, and Rust 24/7 playlists.
