A frustrating clip from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 shows one player dying twice in the same killcam. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been out for a few months, and users have uploaded various clips of funny and interesting incidents they experienced during matches.
As an example, one video from Modern Warfare 2 shows two fans playing a game of grenade hot potato on Shipment. It features both players constantly throwing the grenade back at the other, in the hopes that it will eventually explode and kill the opponent. Now, a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 player has shared an unfortunate clip of them dying twice in the same killcam.
This video shows a Reddit user named ZestyRanch1219 getting killed in a match of Modern Warfare 2, before dying to the same opponent immediately after respawning. The player skips the killcam on the first death but decides to watch it after getting killed a second time. While the first death seems normal for a Call of Duty match, the second one shows an unfortunate spawn as the opponent was aiming at that exact location before ZestyRanch1219 reappeared.
As an added insult, the other player was using the SP-R 208 bolt-action marksman rifle, a weapon some consider to be overpowered in Modern Warfare 2. Besides the SP-R 208, there are plenty of great guns in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and fans can choose from various assault rifles, pistols, shotguns, and sniper rifles among others.
Many users in the comments complain about the spawning system in Modern Warfare 2, with one sharing their frustrations with spawn camping as well. Even though the situations may not be identical, it looks like several gamers have died to unfortunate spawns in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Some fans are also surprised that the clip is not from a tiny map like Shipment, where it’s common for users to spawn in front of opponents.
The match is being played on Taraq, an open map with a lot of space, so it’s strange for the player to have spawned so close to the spot they died. Though some hate the map, other users consider Taraq to be one of the better maps in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, with Farm 18 and Crown Raceway also being favorites. Modern Warfare 2 launched with a decent selection of maps, but Season 1 only added two more, with both being remakes of existing levels. Hopefully, spawns across all maps will be improved going forward.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
