Call of Duty: Warzone is an extremely skill-heavy game, so it is quite crucial that players have the right weapons on their hands to tip the scales in their favor. As a result, gamers must know what's the current meta in the game.
The Season 3 update was quite eventful for Call of Duty: Warzone fans, with a plethora of new weapons and aftermarket parts making their way to the game. Alongside that, several weapons were also tweaked at the same time, which caused a significant shift in the meta. Here are the best weapons to use in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3.

The Best Weapons in Warzone Season 3
Renetti
The Renetti has been one of the most used weapons by far ever since Season 3 went live, and players had a variety of reasons to use it. The small handgun can be turned into an absolute powerhouse with the JAK Ferocity Carbine kit. Using the aftermarket part, players can turn the Renetti into a full-fledged SMG, which completely rips through enemies at close range. When built around attachment that further bolsters fast-paced combat, the Renetti can become extremely annoying to deal with. However, the success didn't last for long as the weapon got nerfed.
The JAK Ferocity Carbine Kit no longer enjoys the same damage and output as earlier, which also significantly impacts its TTK. That being said, the Renetti is still a viable option in the current meta, as it is still at par with some of the best weapons in the game, although it might not outshine them like before.
HRM-9
Whenever a popular gun is nerfed, the baton goes back to the next popular one of the same type, so the HRM-9 gaining popularity shouldn't be that big of a surprise. While this weapon has been subject to a series of nerfs that significantly decreased its damage range and mobility, after the changes to the Renetti, many might consider it the better option. In fact, the TTK of the HRM-9 currently stands slightly lower than the Renetti, which makes it more effective in close-range dogfights.
Bruen MK9
Close-range combat is not for everyone, and sometimes making strategic decisions from afar is preferred by many. That's where the Bruen MK9 comes into play. While players might lack agility with the weapon, considering it is an LMG, it is a weapon that is undisputed at medium range. With a few good attachments that improve the recoil control, players can easily control the battle from a distance, and the abundance of ammunition should also drastically expand the room for error. While the Bruen MK9 was nerfed too, it still clearly dominates several other weapons.
SOA Subverter
No meta is complete without a rifle, and that's exactly where the SOA Subverter comes into play. The Battle Rifle is perfect for players who prefer playing from long range, and it is arguably the best in that department. In fact, the gun enjoys pretty much a cult following in Call of Duty and has been one of the most picked guns, which speaks volumes about effectiveness. While the recoil may be a bit difficult to control, players can tweak their attachments to make it better, while also making it more versatile for different ranges.
MORS
Last but not least, the sniper of the list is, unsurprisingly, the MORS. What makes this weapon so powerful is that it is just a one-shot kill with a few modifications. The rest is just about making the ADS even faster, so players can turn that weapon into a quickscope beast. Players who master the flicks can be a force to reckon with while this weapon in their hands, but the only catch is that the margin for error is extremely low, as the case is with snipers. This will likely take a lot of practice to master, but is definitely worth it.
