Call of Duty: Warzone drops players onto wide-open maps, where they must compete against each other until the last man or team stands. Whether players are diving into Urzikstan or taking their shot at Warzone Resurgence, improving their game is always a top priority for beating the competition. Though most players may look toward getting their hands on the best weapons for Warzone, updating their settings is also key.

There are a wide variety of settings that players can optimize, from choosing the best controller button layout to tinkering with the game’s graphics settings for performance. However, one overlooked setting is Field of View (FOV), which can have a major impact on gameplay if optimized correctly.
How To Change FOV In Call Of Duty: Warzone
The Field of View settings for Call of Duty: Warzone can be changed anytime, either during a match or in the main menu. Here's how to access them:
- Head to the Pause Menu and select Settings.
- Click on the Graphics tab.
- Navigate to the View tab, where the Field of View settings are located at the top.
Best FOV Settings In Call Of Duty: Warzone
Best Field Of View (FOV) Setting
While the value of a player's FOV is mainly down to personal preference, there are some things to consider when choosing the right setting. For players looking to optimize frame rate, a value between 80 and 90 may be best. However, a high FOV generally has a minimal effect on frame rate. In this case, for players looking to maximize visibility, a value between 110 and 120 is an optimal choice.
Players can also carry out the same practice for the 3rd Person Field Of View, setting it to 90 for maximum visibility, or a value from 60 to 70 for better performance if needed.
Best ADS Field Of View Setting
This next setting goes toe-to-toe with the previous one and will impact a player's FOV while aiming down sights. For the most part, "Affected" is the best option here. It zooms in to a level closer to the player's set FOV, making the transition between both stances relatively smooth.
Best Weapon Field Of View Setting
Weapon Field of View adjusts the width and height of the player's weapon view, and while it may seem like a minor setting, altering it can actually improve a player's aim. "Wide" is currently the best option, as it makes the weapon appear smaller, reducing visual recoil.
Best Vehicle Field Of View Setting
Vehicle Field of View adjusts the width and height of the player's vehicle view. Similar to Weapon Field of View, "Wide" is currently the best option, providing players with better visibility while cruising around the battlefield — either to secure a win on Rebirth Island or go toe-to-toe with other players in Urzikstan.
