Alongside Michael Myers and Art the Clown returning, The Walking Dead: Road to Terminus event is another in-game event where players are tasked with earning huge amounts of XP or completing specific objectives across a variety of game modes. Here, find everything there is to know about The Walking Dead: Road to Terminus event, including when it begins and what rewards are on offer.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Players Frustrated Over 'Missed Opportunity' With Haunting Event
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players share their frustrations about a decision regarding the game's newest limited-time event.
The Walking Dead: Road To Terminus Event Start Date
The Walking Dead: Road to Terminus event begins on September 25, a week after the Season 6 update goes live. Once active, players have one week to earn all of the rewards up for grabs before the event ends on October 2.
How Does The Road To Terminus Event Work?
The Walking Dead: Road to Terminus involves players earning specific amounts of XP instead of completing challenges. All players need to do is play Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone matches to begin unlocking the rewards.
XP in Call of Duty is distributed by in-game performance. Scoring high amounts of kills or keeping hold of the objective for extended lengths of time is a surefire way of racking up tens of thousands with ease.
For Warzone, scoring kills also generates plenty of XP alongside completing contracts during matches. High placements also help. The longer players survive, the higher the XP.
There are some ways where players can earn XP at a faster rate. Using the Daryl Dixon Operator grants players a boost. The only drawback to this is that players have to purchase the skin from the in-game store.
The Walking Dead: Road To Terminus Rewards
The full list of The Walking Dead: Road to Terminus rewards haven't yet been announced, but the chances of it following the same formula as previous in-game events is high. Based off of previous events, here are all the items and rewards expected to appear:
- Battle Pass tokens
- Double XP tokens
- Calling cards
- Emblems
- Weapon charms
- Weapon camouflages
- Weapon blueprints
- Sprays
The reward details will be updated once rewards for the event are officially announced.
The Walking Dead: Road to Terminus event is the last time the show will join forces with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 before the focus switches to the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on October 25.
