Call of Duty fans are eagerly awaiting the mid-season update to release for Modern Warfare 3, Warzone & Warzone Mobile. Activision has revealed a brief overview of what players can expect from the update, and the exact release date and time of the update.

The Season 3 update turned out to be an eventful one for fans, with the release of new guns, maps, and much more. The introduction of weapons like the FJX Horus and MORS changed the meta completely, with the latter being one of the most used weapons in the game since the launch of the update. It's now time for another update to be released, and fans are curious when they can experience it in the game.

The Call of Duty Season 3 Reloaded Update will be released on May 1 at 9 AM PT. However, there are a couple of things to note. The update will be released at the same time across all platforms, including Warzone Mobile as well, so, irrespective of whether you play the game on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox, the update will be released at this time. This means that players from all regions will get the changes at exactly the same time. Here is when players can expect the game to be released across different regions.

While it might sound like a mere mid-season update, the developers are definitely leaving no stone unturned in adding content to the game. Two new game modes will be joining Modern Warfare 3, namely Minefield and Escort. Minefield sets up a unique mode where eliminated operators drop Proximity Mines while the Escort mode is very similar to the ones present in games like Overwatch. Additionally, two new maps, Grime and Checkpoint, will be available for players. There is also a new Field Upgrade, Enhanced Vision Goggles, which improves target acquisition while the EMD Mine bursts into tracking devices upon explosion.

When it comes to the fan-favorite Warzone, players can expect a new game mode that is focused on Heavy Armor, while the Utility Box Field Upgrade combines Ammo and Armor Boxes together. There is a new Assault Rifle in town as well, BAL-27, and it will be interesting to see how it fares against the likes of SOA Subverter. Additionally, new aftermarket parts are also arriving for M16, Lockwood Mk2, and AMR9.
