Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone's The Haunting Season 6 have cranked up the spooky factor of both games, seeing the debut of the long-awaited Zombie Royale game mode for Battle Royale, along with a plethora of scarily good content inside the Battle Pass. Though players may still be grinding to unlock everything the Battle Pass has to offer, such as the now meta DTIR 30-06 Battle Rifle, Week 4 of Modern Warfare 3 sees the arrival of yet another Aftermarket Part to unlock.
Best JAK Salvo Loadout in CoD MW3 & Warzone
The JAK Salvo converts the KATT-AMR into a rocket-powered Sniper Rifle in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. Here is the best loadout for it!
The JAK Voltstorm is an Aftermarket Part available for the Stormender, one of Modern Warfare 3's small roster of Launchers. While the Stormender is only really useful for taking down Killstreaks, the JAK Voltstorm turns the weapon into a lethal tool for disposing of Operators at close range. While the weapon itself cannot be customized, meaning that players will be unable to create a meta loadout for it, it can still be a fun gimmicky weapon to use inside of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.
How To Unlock The JAK Voltstorm
The JAK Voltstorm is a weekly reward that players can unlock by completing any five of the Week 4 Challenges for Season 6 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. These challenges are available in Multiplayer, Zombies, and Battle Royale, making the JAK Voltstorm relatively accessible regardless of what modes players dive into. Aside from unlocking the JAK Voltstorm, each weekly challenge also provides an XP reward, along with bringing players a step closer to unlocking the Drawn And Quartered Camo.
Here is a quick breakdown of all the available Week 4 challenges players can complete:

For Warzone Mobile, however, the unlock process for the JAK Voltstorm is a little different. Instead, players will need to spend their Arsenal Coins within the Arsenal Store to get the JAK Voltstorm.
The JAK Voltstorm will remain as a weekly reward right up until the end of Season 6. Once Season 6 ends, it should move on over to the Armory Unlock section for those who have not claimed it already.
CoD Warzone: How to Fix the Puget-Lakes Error
Error codes are always frustrating. This guide contains all the intel you need to fix the Call of Duty: Warzone Puget-Lakes error.
How Good Is The JAK Voltstorm?
The JAK Voltstorm is a lethal weapon in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, capable of eliminating unarmored opponents with just a single shot. It's also entirely possible to eliminate multiple players in one shot, provided they are grouped closely together. Much like the regular variant of the Stormender, players will need to charge up the JAK Voltstorm by holding the Fire button, releasing it to fire off a high-powered shot. The JAK Voltstorm is only effective up close, and its damage range doesn't extend into the medium range. Because of this, the weapon is pretty much useless in Warzone, and players are better off using a solid Shotgun.
The same holds true for Zombies. However, a Pack-A-Punched JAK Voltstorm loses its charge-up time and instead fires instantly once the trigger is pulled. A Pack-A-Punched JAK Voltstorm's range is also significantly increased, capable of one-shotting most Zombies in the low-threat zone from an infinite distance, as long as players land a direct hit. A Pack-A-Punched JAK Voltstorm also dishes out significant damage in both the medium-threat and high-threat zones (provided players have the JAK Voltstorm Pack-A-Punched to Tier II or higher and have upgraded the weapon with a high-rarity Aether Tool). It may not be the best weapon for Zombies, but it can be a fun addition to a player's arsenal.
