The DTIR 30-06 is a modern-day version of the BAR from previous Call of Duty titles and has joined Modern Warfare 3's line of Battle Rifles. This weapon boasts an impressive damage output from the start and virtually no horizontal recoil, making it one of the best meta options for Season 6 and beyond — especially when paired with the right loadout.

How To Unlock The DTIR 30-06

The DTIR 30-06 is one of two additional weapons in The Haunting Season 6 Battle Pass and is the HVT reward for Sector 6. To acquire it, players must first create a path by claiming all the rewards in previous Battle Pass Sectors using their Battle Pass Tokens — earned by gaining Battle Pass XP. The fastest way to reach Sector 6 is to claim all the rewards in Sectors 1, 2, and 4. Once that’s done, players can claim every reward in Sector 6 and use one final Battle Pass Token to unlock the DTIR 30-06.

Alternatively, players can purchase the Season 6 Battle Pass Bundle and use their 20 Tier Skips to access the DTIR 30-06 right from the get-go. However, this will cost 2,400 COD Points.

Season 6 will run through till the launch of Black Ops 6 Season 1, and once it is over, the DTIR 30-06 should enter the Armory Unlock section for those who have not claimed it.

This first build for the DTIR 30-06 is made primarily for Core Multiplayer. With the attachments highlighted below, players can expect a neat boost in aim-down-sight speed and sprint-to-fire speed, upping the overall handling of this Battle Rifle for intense gunfights on smaller-sized maps. Bullet velocity and damage range have also been boosted slightly, allowing the DTIR 30-06 to maintain a high TTK from a distance. Though mobility and recoil control have taken a small hit, they remain fairly close to baseline, doing little to harm the weapon's overall effectiveness.
