When Does Ranked Play Release for COD Black Ops 7?
Black Ops 7 Ranked Play is set to release with the launch of Season 2 for both Black Ops 7 and Warzone. According to the number of weeks viewable in the Weekly Challenge menu and the Battle Pass countdown timer in-game, the release date for Season 2 and Black Ops 7 Ranked Play is February 5, 2026, at 9 AM PT. This is, of course, without taking into account any potential delays.
While Treyarch has yet to unveil Ranked in an official announcement blog, this information was shared over on Treyarch's Official X account, following the conclusion of the Multiplayer Beta, in a post stating that Ranked Play will launch alongside Season 2. Ranked Play for Call of Duty: Warzone will also begin at the same time, allowing both Black Ops 7 and Battle Royale players to jump into the action for competitive play.
What are the Requirements for Ranked Play in COD Black Ops 7?
As of right now, there are no confirmed details on what the requirements will be to play Ranked Play in Black Ops 7. However, based on the requirements for Black Ops 6, players will likely need to win 50 matches in Multiplayer during the current season to participate. As for Warzone, players will likely need to place among the top squads (6 for Resurgence, 12 for Battle Royale) in at least 20 matches to access Ranked Play.
