The Squid Game Event Pass functions much like a mini Battle Pass and is available to all players at the start of the Squid Game Event . The Pass features two tracks: a free track and a premium track, each offering ten rewards. To progress through the Squid Game Event Pass and unlock its rewards, players must reach XP milestones by earning XP in either Black Ops 6 or Warzone, with 356,000 XP required to unlock every reward.

While all the rewards within the free track are available to all players, those on the premium track can only be earned once players purchase the Squid Game Event Pass for 1,100 COD Points—equivalent to $9.99. Both tracks will level up simultaneously starting from January 3, meaning that players can always accumulate enough XP first and then purchase the Squid Game Event Pass at a later date to acquire its premium rewards, if they prefer.
