Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 publisher Activision has confirmed that the upcoming shooter will not have an early access release, despite rumors and insider reports suggesting otherwise. There's now less than two weeks to go until Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 hits PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and while many fans were hoping to jump into the Campaign and Zombies even earlier after new information emerged last week, Activision has now said that won't be happening.
Last week, backend data on the PlayStation Network suggested that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 would be releasing two of its three core game modes earlier than the scheduled November 14 launch. Although it was unconfirmed at the time, a trusted insider known as PlayStation Game Size revealed that the release time listed on PlayStation's servers for the next Call of Duty was November 10, specifically for its Campaign and Zombies. Unfortunately, it appears that this was simply an error, as Activision has now commented on the matter.

Call of Duty might just be the king of the FPS genre, but that doesn't mean there aren't impressive alternatives to check out.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Won't Have Early Access
This wasn't the first time that rumors of an early release for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 had made waves on social media, as another trusted insider, TheGhostOfHope, also made a similar claim back in October. However, an Activision representative has now confirmed to CharlieIntel that there will be no early access release, no change to the release date, and that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is still scheduled to launch on Friday, November 14. While this may be disappointing to those eagerly anticipating the title's release, there are only eleven days left to go until Black Ops 7 is in players' hands.
While developer Treyarch Studios has been implementing a wide range of changes based on player feedback in the build-up to Black Ops 7's release, there have still been a myriad of disappointments in recent weeks, with confirmation that there will be no early access launch being just the latest. Fans were left divided last week after it was discovered that Activision had removed a pre-order bonus for Black Ops 7. Due to the changes in content approach, the Reznov Challenge Pack is now only usable in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
Despite some recent disappointments, there's still plenty to look forward to. Developer Treyarch Studios has already revealed that fan-favorite map Nuketown will come to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on November 20, less than one week after launch. Fans can also expect plenty of other remastered classics with Season 1, including Standoff and Meltdown.
