An unlucky Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 player recently discovered a frustrating bug that's capable of ending Zombies runs on the Terminus map. Players in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 community are calling on Treyarch to fix the bug and other issues that weren't addressed in previous updates.
In Black Ops 6, players are currently enjoying double XP and double weapon XP until January 3. In addition, Black Ops 6's Archie's Festival Frenzy holiday event is live until January 3 with a dozen exclusive rewards to obtain by collecting Jolly Archies, which drop from enemy kills in multiplayer and Zombies. While attempting to earn rewards and have a successful Zombies run, Black Ops 6 players began to encounter game-breaking bugs involving the Amalgam enemy type. The bug can end Zombies runs, leading to some frustration in the community.
One of Call of Duty's Most Iconic Modes Is Still Broken in Black Ops 6
An iconic Call of Duty mode that has featured in every mainline title appears to be completely broken in Black Ops 6, despite complaints from fans.
Reddit user BenPlaysGamesTV discovered a strange and annoying Amalgam bug on the Terminus map in Black Ops 6 Zombies, which pushed the player out of bounds with no way back into the Holding Cells area. It only took one strike from the Amalgam elite enemy to send BenPlaysGamesTV into a part of the map that's typically inaccessible, but the player is still able to defeat enemies and take damage, thanks to a small opening from a nearby door. BenPlaysGamesTV is also able to shoot through the wall above the door, but this bug can end the player's run if they take enough damage. According to BenPlaysGamesTV, they had to save and quit since there's no visible way of getting out of the glitched area.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Player Discovers Amalgam Bug That Sends Them Out of Bounds on Terminus
- There's no fix for the Amalgam bug yet in Black Ops 6.
- Other players are reporting the same bug on Terminus, since it can be replicated across the map.
Black Ops 6 players in the Reddit community chimed in with their thoughts about the bug, with one player, The_Piment, saying that they've experienced this bug multiple times while playing Zombies on Black Ops 6's Terminus map. Some players are also trying to strategize a way to make the Amalgam bug work in their favor in order to reach higher rounds on the map, but running out of ammo in the glitched area is inevitable. A few players speculate that PhD Flopper and Melee Macchiato may still work through the small gap in the door, however.
Treyarch has yet to publicly acknowledge the new Zombies bug, since the developers are on leave for the holidays. However, updates are expected to arrive in January as Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 1 Reloaded come to a close near the end of the month. Since the Amalgam bug can be easily replicated, it's likely going to be an issue that Treyarch will address with bug fixes.

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.
The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
