Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has received a new update that corrects the weapon adjustments that failed to go through in the Season 2 Reloaded update, adds a 24/7 playlist for the new Bullet map, and more. Season 2 Reloaded just went live in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 earlier this week and brought with it some new 6v6 multiplayer maps, a host of new melee weapons, and a huge collaboration with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that adds all four turtles to the game along with challenges and events.

While the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Reload update added a lot for players to chew on in the remaining weeks of the season, some players noticed that several weapon adjustments that were promised in the patch notes inexplicably failed to update. A total of four weapons and three attachments were affected, and the issue persisted across Black Ops 6's multiplayer and Call of Duty: Warzone. This all prompted Treyarch and later Activision to step in and clear the air, confirming that the issue didn't have to do with incorrect patch notes, but a technical error with the update itself.

Black Ops 6 recently received a fresh wave of content, with fans quickly finding an exciting tease for an upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater project.

Treyarch has just put out a fresh update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and headlining the patch is the addition of a Bullet 24/7 playlist. Bullet is one of the new 6v6 multiplayer maps that was added as part of Season 2 Reloaded and pits players against each other on a narrow, moving bullet train. It's one of the most unique Call of Duty maps that's ever been made, and it's been making waves online for all the chaotic fun fans have been having running through the train cars and battling on top of the train itself.

Most importantly, this Black Ops 6 patch fixes the weapon adjustments that failed to be implemented in the previous Season 2 Reload update. The GPR 91 assault rifle, new Feng 82 LMG, and the SWAT 5.56 and Tsarkov 7.62 marksman rifles have all been properly adjusted, along with fixes for two of the three attachments; a fix for the Under Barrel Crossbow attachment will come in a later update. This new patch also addressed an important issue that cropped up after the Season 2 Reloaded patch which affected players' earnings of Ranked Play SR. Additionally, the update provides some relief for Black Ops 6 Zombies players who have been experiencing crashes when pausing a match.

It's good to see Treyarch and Activision on top of things when a problem like weapon balancing adjustments failing to update occurs, as many Call of Duty players do really care about the finer stats of the game's weapons. Season 3 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is still several weeks away, but players can get their fill of fun-filled chaos with the new Bullet 24/7 playlist in the meantime.

Weapons: Multiplayer and Zombies

  • Addressed an issue that prevented some weapon tuning changes planned for Season 02 Reloaded to behave as expected.

        • Increased ADS zoom level.
        • Increased projectile velocity and reduced initial vertical velocity. Reduces cases of overshooting targets in close-range situations, and makes it easier to hit targets at range.

    • Under Barrel Crossbow Attachment adjustments that will arrive in an upcoming update:
      • Increased ammo count by 1.

Ranked Play

  • Addressed an issue where Ranked Play SR was not being awarded or deducted as expected shortly after the launch of Season 02 Reloaded (fixed on Feb. 20).
    • We are now investigating a fix-up for players who played during this impacted window. Look for details and updates on our Trello.

UI (Multiplayer and Zombies)

  • The Challenge Tracker widget in the Main and Pause Menus for Multiplayer and Zombies has been reenabled.

Stability

  • Addressed an issue where some players could become stuck on the Fetching Online Profile screen.
