Activision and Treyarch have released a brand-new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 that players can download right now across all platforms. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was released last week and has enjoyed incredible success so far. Not only is Black Ops 6 attracting a record number of players, but the game has also earned critical acclaim, becoming the highest-rated new Call of Duty game in years.
Like its predecessors, Black Ops 6 is expected to have a significant post-launch life with new content released on a regular basis. The first batch of post-launch content is in the game as of now, with players able to duke it out on the classic Nuketown map that first appeared in the original Black Ops all the way back in 2010. Along with Nuketown, a new update has been distributed that makes bug fixes and addresses other issues with the game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Player Shows Massive Aim Assist Nerf From Modern Warfare 3
A Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 player shows the stark difference in the game's aim assist when compared to 2023's Modern Warfare 3.
The latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 update is available right now and upon downloading it, fans should notice improvements across the board. In terms of the game in general, the update makes it so players no longer run into black screens when trying to load into Multiplayer and Zombies, and it also fixes an issue with the unlock notification for Diamond Mastery badges. The new update also targets problems specific to Black Ops 6 multiplayer and Zombies.
On the multiplayer front, the new update has removed Lowtown from the Infected playlist, and it has also made it possible for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players to host Private Infected matches. It has also fixed an issue with Black Ops 6 Free-for-All where players were winning the match based on their total score as opposed to their total kills. Various problems with Black Ops 6 weapons and scorestreaks have also been addressed.
As far as Zombies goes, the new Black Ops 6 update fixes the GobbleGum exploit, as well as an exploit on Terminus Island that let players block zombies using a tactical rift. Additionally, the UI limit has been adjusted from 256 to 999. Fans can expect new updates to be released for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on a regular basis. The next major update should arrive on November 14, as that's the day that Black Ops 6 Season 1 officially kicks off.

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.
The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
