Treyarch has released a small update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 that brings some important changes to a few maps, as well as a crucial fix for XP gains in certain game modes. Although Black Ops 6 was only released a few days ago, Treyarch has wasted no time getting to work on making it a better experience for gamers.
Gamers are still discovering everything Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has to offer. Despite some qualms, response to the game has been largely positive, with the omni-movement mechanics cited as a massive game-changer for the franchise going forward. There are still some issues that have plagued the series for years that Treyarch has so far been unable to solve with its latest iteration; some Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players are frustrated with multiplayer respawn spots, but this is certainly not a new problem.
Just a couple of days after the last Black Ops 6 update, Treyarch has been quick off the mark to deliver another small patch for the game. This time around, the Black Ops 6 patch notes feature some important fixes that every gamer will appreciate. Among the changes are increased XP rates for the game modes Team Deathmatch, Control, Search and Destroy, and Gunfight. Previously, these modes were awarding "less XP than expected." There are also out-of-bounds exploit fixes on the maps Babylon, Lowtown, and Red Card. Twitch streamers also get positive news with the "Mute Licensed Music" setting now functioning as intended.
One notable omission from the list of patch notes is a fix for the bug that allows Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players to see through flashbangs. It's worth remembering that while Treyarch will undoubtedly have individuals working tirelessly to solve some of the game's most pressing issues, some could take time to solve. As players discover more bugs in the game, some will take priority over others.
Right now, it's still preseason in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. It's rumored that Season 1 of Black Ops 6 will launch in mid-November, but Treyarch has yet to say when it will officially begin. If this is correct, this is good news, as it gives the developer a few weeks to continue releasing small patches like this to iron out the game's bugs. In the meantime, players will have access to the classic map Nuketown starting November 1, giving them a little bit of new content before Season 1 finally kicks off.

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.
The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
