Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies fans suddenly have good reason to be excited for January 24, as that's the day Treyarch will give them their best look yet at The Tomb map. At launch, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 had two Zombies maps: Terminus Island and Liberty Falls. Then, as part of Black Ops 6 Season 1, Treyarch released the third Zombies map Citadelle des Morts. It's been confirmed that The Tomb Zombies map will be added to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 when Season 2 goes live on January 28. As part of the Black Ops 6 Season 2 reveal, Treyarch shared screenshots of The Tomb, showcasing some of the key areas that make up the new Zombies map. In total, there will be nine areas for Black Ops 6 Zombies players to explore when The Tomb goes live, and some of these will undoubtedly be shown off in the gameplay trailer dropping on January 24.

Treyarch has kept most of what The Tomb entails secret for the most part, which makes sense. After all, it's better for Black Ops 6 players to play the new Zombies map for themselves and discover its secrets that way. Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch.
