  • Treyarch Studios teases a new Mansion Zombies map for Black Ops 6.
  • The upcoming map will not feature Amalgams and Abominations, opening the possibility of facing Manglers or a new Elite enemy.
  • According to a leak, the map could release at the start of Season 3 on April 3, 2025.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studios has shared a teaser video for the game’s upcoming, brand-new Zombies map on social media. This map will be the fifth addition to Black Ops 6’s round-based survival mode, following The Tomb, which was the last map released in Season 2.

Zombies mode has been a signature feature of Treyarch Studios across all its titles, setting it apart from other developers, and has become a cornerstone of the Black Ops franchise. Following the return of round-based Zombies, the development team revealed their ambitious plans for the undead mode, aiming to offer players a complete experience with a variety of entirely new maps. In line with this, Treyarch is reportedly preparing a new map to follow Black Ops 6's The Tomb, according to recent social media updates.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies’ Next Map Can’t Omit Two Easter Egg Types Like the Tomb

CoD Zombies fans criticized the Tomb for feeling unfinished, which is a complaint the next Black Ops 6 can dodge by including these Easter eggs.

In a recent Twitter post, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch revealed a first look at the upcoming Mansion Zombies map. The teaser shows the front of a mansion, with visible destruction, destroyed vehicles, and a significant amount of fire and smoke. In addition to sharing a first look, Treyarch also officially confirmed through a comment response on Instagram that Black Ops 6's Amalgams and Abominations enemies won't appear on the map. This may open the door for either Manglers or a new Elite enemy to face.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s New Mansion Zombies Map Reportedly Arriving in Season 3

According to a report shared by the reputable Call of Duty leaker TheGhostOfHope, the next new Zombies map is scheduled to release alongside Black Ops 6's Season 3, currently set for April 3, 2025. While the teaser shared by Treyarch only reveals the location of the upcoming Mansion Zombies map, the mode’s storyline so far, along with several prior leaks, has provided more details about the content coming with this new map. The mansion shown in the teaser first appeared in the intro cutscene for Black Ops 6’s Liberty Falls map, where it can also be seen behind the church.

The new Black Ops 6 Zombies map is expected to be set in February 1991, just days before the events of Terminus and Liberty Falls, following the failure of the latter’s outbreak. This timeline is confirmed by the transcript of Blanchard’s interview with Krystal Miller. Based on The Tomb cutscene, this map may be closely tied to the stories of Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Zombies and Chaos, as the mode’s crew acquires the Sentinel artifact after completing a trial similar to those in the Chaos storyline. The artifact channels dark Aether powers and is revered for its abilities.

Various rumors suggest the return of popular Zombies' mode content from previous Black Ops games. This could reportedly include Perk-a-Colas like Double Tap, Mule Kick, and Tombstone, along with the Shatter Blast Ammo Mod and Frost Blast Field Upgrade. Additionally, the next Zombies map may feature Gobblegums such as Shopping Free, Aftertaste, Fear in Headlights, Head Drama, and Flavor Hex. No new Black Ops 6 Zombies map would be complete without a Wonder Weapon, and the Mansion map is allegedly set to bring back the iconic Black Ops Wunderwaffe DG-2 and the Ray Gun Mark 2 for the Mystery Box.

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.

The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.

In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.

Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
