The studio looks to be ending the current season with a bang, as the next double XP event in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will feature double weapon XP, double Battle Pass XP, double level XP, and double Gobblegum earn rate in Zombies.
With Season 2 finally coming to an end, Call of Duty fans around the world are eager to jump into a brand-new content update. While Season 3 was initially set to launch on March 20, publisher Activision announced earlier this month that it would be delaying the release of Call of Duty's next season to April 3. The studio didn't outline any specifics for the delay, but did note that it was going to be a "big moment" for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Although details on new content for Black Ops 6 are still unknown, Activision has confirmed that Warzone fans will once again be able to jump into Verdansk with the launch of Season 3.

According to the in-game event tab, the final double XP weekend of Season 2 will be a big one, as it will feature double level XP, double weapon XP, double Battle Pass XP, and double Gobblegum earn rate in Zombies. This means no matter what fans are aiming for, whether it be to reach Master Prestige or max out a specific weapon, the upcoming double XP event will be one for all players.

It's currently unconfirmed how long the next Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 double XP event will last, but with Season 3 set to begin on April 3, there's a chance it may stick around until the beginning of the new season.
