As more promotional material releases for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, a huge hint toward the allegiance of one character seems to be in plain sight.
Black Ops 6 Early Access Explained
With the pre-loading process beginning for the Black Ops 6 campaign, Call of Duty fans are starting to wonder if there's a possibility of playing the game ahead of its October 25 launch. Early access allows players to play the game before its release date but this often comes at a premium. Access to a game early typically features as part of a more expensive edition, meaning players will have to pay more in order to load into the action as soon as possible.
Does Black Ops 6 Have Campaign Early Access?
Activision has confirmed Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will not have early access to the campaign. This may be disappointing news for those hoping to experience the story without having to worry about their multiplayer rank falling behind.
In a statement to CharlieINTEL, the Call of Duty publisher said:
“The team is fully focused on October 25th. We are excited about all the game has to offer across Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies. This year, we made the decision to ensure the community gets to dig in to any and all modes that they want at the same time, so we are back to one massive global launch moment October 25th. As such, there is no Early Access beat this year for Black Ops 6, just the countdown to launch.”
It's unclear as to why the Black Ops 6 campaign won't receive an early access period but many fans believe it's due to the negative reception of the Modern Warfare 3 single-player story.
Does Black Ops 6 Have Zombies Early Access?
Similarly to the Black Ops 6 campaign, Zombies won't have an early access period either meaning there are no chances to play the sixth entry into the Black Ops series early. Thankfully, there's plenty of time to experience Terminus and Liberty Falls before Call of Duty 2025 drops.
The lack of early access for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 may come as a surprise to many. With the earliest chance to play being on October 25, it means the whole world gets to experience all of the innovations Treyarch has in store at the same time.
