- Speculation runs high for the future of Black Ops 6 with daily updates and potential new features.
An eagle-eyed Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 player online has noticed that one of the new store bundles introduced in Season 1 has possibly teased what the next Zombies perk might be. There are two items in this Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundle that references the iconic Zombies perk, which has players excited.
Fan speculation is rife about what the future holds for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Treyarch is updating the game almost daily with new updates, and it feels like anything is possible at the moment. The Zombies game mode is always a particular area of excitement, as Treyarch has always shown a willingness to innovate on new features while keeping elements of the classic formula for long-time fans to enjoy. Some Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 fans think Treyarch is teasing Zombie Chronicles 2 in the game, showing there's plenty of secrets hidden away for players to find.
As noticed by m7mdx20 on Reddit, the IDEAD Mastercraft bundle in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 store features two items that appear to tease the return of the Double Tap perk. The Repairman Black Ops 6 Operator features a small charm on his belt that appears to be the classic Double Tap logo, while Big Boomer skin straight up has the name of the perk along the side of the weapon. It isn't too much of a stretch to assume that this could be a tease for an upcoming perk in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies.
Double Tap Could Be the Next Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies Perk
Double Tap was last featured as a Call of Duty Zombies perk back in 2015's Black Ops 3. This perk increases the rate of fire for weapons, making it a useful addition to any player's arsenal. Given it has been almost a decade since it was last included, it would be somewhat of a surprise, but a welcome one nonetheless. Treyarch hasn't spoken much about its future plans for Zombies in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, but given how many perks can already be found in the mode, it's certainly possible that Double Tap could be added to the game.
Treyarch continues to frequently update Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at the start of Season 1, improving the game on a near-daily basis. The studio has taken a player-first approach, shown by its reversal of the controversial Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 XP tokens update. It always seems as though the developer is listening to feedback and actioning it quickly, which is great to see at this early stage.

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.
The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
