- Some players believe Black Ops 6's current loading screens aren't as aesthetically pleasing or unique compared to those from Black Ops 2.
- Black Ops 6 Season 2 will introduce a new Zombies map called "The Tomb" and additional content, but comic-style loading screens seem unlikely.
Call of Duty fans recently voiced their desire for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's comic book-style Zombies loading screens to make a return in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The community also shared their thoughts on the loading screens that are currently available in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, including those unlocked by entering Prestige.
Once Black Ops 6 Season 2 begins on January 28, the game will have a total of four Zombies maps with the introduction of "The Tomb." The map continues from where the main story of Citadelle des Morts left off as the Zombies crew searches for the Sentinel Artifact in its depths. Before the second season begins, Zombies fans began to look back at Black Ops 2 and some of its beloved features, including the loading screens.
After Season 2's Reveal, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies' Future Just Became Clearer
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 has just been officially revealed, and some new information makes it a little easier to predict the game's future.
Reddit user CompleteFacepalm would like to see comic book-style loading screens from Black Ops 2 return for Black Ops 6 Zombies. Many players in the Black Ops 6 community on Reddit, including Osada_Ueyko, aren't happy with the loading screens that players can currently unlock, noting that the loading screen illustrations don't have enough artistic substance or look "horrible" due to scaling at higher resolutions. Others believe Black Ops 2 Zombies loading screens were more aesthetically pleasing and consistent across all maps, including the fan-favorite Buried map. Fans in the community are also doubtful about any changes to loading screens in future Black Ops 6 updates, with some believing that Activision and Treyarch would rather work on all-new operator skins and bundles instead of making loading screens that Zombies fans would want.
Call of Duty Fans Want Black Ops 2's Zombies Comic Book Loading Screens to Return in Black Ops 6
Currently, Black Ops 6 players can earn new loading screens by completing challenges, reaching certain Prestige levels, leveling up the Battle Pass, and purchasing bundles like Tracer Packs from the in-game shop. None of the available loading screens in Black Ops 6 Season 1 replicate the comic book aesthetic that some Zombies fans have been wanting, however. Black Ops 6's Prestige loading screens reference past Black Ops games, and there could still be a chance for loading screens referencing older Zombies maps to appear in a future update if fans continue to be vocal and send feedback.
The Season 2 update will add a slew of new content alongside The Tomb map for Black Ops 6 Zombies. Players can expect new multiplayer maps, new weapons and gear, the Season 2 Battle Pass, and additional challenges and limited-time events. Although comic book-style loading screens don't appear to be on the cards for Black Ops 6, players can expect a steady flow of updates and content in Season 2 and beyond.

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.
The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
