A Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 player online has discovered a creative use for the Chopper Gunner scorestreak, proving to be a big help to their teammates in the process. The Chopper Gunner is usually used to rain death from above in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, but that's not the only way it can be of use to players.

The Chopper Gunner is by far one of the best scorestreaks in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's multiplayer. Not only does it tell players exactly where their opponents are with a huge red indicator, but it also features a large gun that can kill these enemies in an instant. Players must amass 1600 score in a single life before they can use the Chopper Gunner, which is why it's so rare to see in matches. However, given the potential reward for calling one in, it's always worth having as an active scorestreak for any player good enough to potentially earn 1600 score.

Redditor nothing_in shared their gameplay clip, in which they used their Chopper Gunner to shoot down an enemy Chopper Gunner that was already active and causing havoc. When one player claimed that they "didn't even know you could do that," another responded, "Neither did the other guy." It's a very creative way to use the powerful scorestreak, especially when the time could have been used improving their Black Ops 6 Elim/Death ratio by farming their opponents.

The problem with using the Chopper Gunner scorestreak on Black Ops 6's version of Nuketown is that it can often mark the end of any real competitive challenge in that particular match. The spawns on the map are largely outside, so when one player uses a Chopper Gunner, it's extremely easy for them to spawn trap others, essentially halting the match until the scorestreak is gone. The speed of the kills makes it nearly impossible to pull out any kind of launcher and get a shot away, too. This means that in many cases, players will simply leave the game once trapped by a Chopper Gunner, as it can result in a big hit to the Elimination/Death ratio. That's why nothing_in has performed a service to their team here.

With Season 1 of Black Ops 6 now well underway, there's plenty of great content for players to look forward to. A new Zombies map is set to be released on December 5, and hopefully, there are more multiplayer maps to come, too. Treyarch has yet to confirm whether there will be any new scorestreaks added to the game in future content drops, although they'd have to be quite powerful if they're to compete with the Chopper Gunner.
