Call of Duty Mobile has received frequent updates since its launch last year, with the developers adding new guns, modes, maps, and more to the game. It seems that even more new content is on the way for Call of Duty Mobile, as a leaked teaser trailer seems to reveal that a fan favorite Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 map is set to be added to the mobile title at some point in the near future.
Fans have determined that the leaked Call of Duty Mobile teaser is for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 map Meltdown. Meltdown has been rumored for Call of Duty Mobile for quite some time, but this is the first official indication that it's actually going to be added to the game. Unfortunately, a specific release date for when Meltdown will come to Call of Duty Mobile is unavailable at the time of this writing, but hopefully more information comes sooner rather than later.
In the meantime, it's not like Call of Duty Mobile players are hurting for new content. Call of Duty Mobile Season Disavowed is now live in the game, giving players the chance to battle it out on the Cage map and unlock plenty of new cosmetics in the process.
But while the Call of Duty Mobile developers have added plenty of new content to the game, it's planning on getting rid of one of its main game modes. It's been confirmed that the Call of Duty Mobile Zombies mode will be removed by the end of the month due to the developers being unsatisfied with its quality. It's possible that the mode will come back to the game at some point in the future, but that's only if the developers can get it to a state that meets their standards.
The loss of Zombies isn't going to be a huge deal, as Call of Duty Mobile reviews were largely positive before Zombies was even added to the game at all. Fans will still have plenty of standard multiplayer content to play, not to mention the game's battle royale mode. And as long as those modes continue to get regular updates, there should be plenty for Call of Duty Mobile fans to look forward to in the future.
Call of Duty Mobile is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
