The reveal for Call of Duty 2020 may be on the way very soon. According to a known Call of Duty leaker, however, it may not be quite what some are anticipating.

It has been a common assumption that the next Call of Duty will be revealed inside Warzone, the popular COD battle royale. Many fans may think that a reveal inside of the battle royale would be less than thrilling, compared to some of the unveilings in the past. However, if a gigantic reveal took place that was akin to the events in Fortnite, it could be very cool. Unfortunately, however, a popular leaker seems to believe that the reveal won't be special.

This year has already been odd in terms of Call of Duty info, as the decade long tradition of unveiling the new COD game by at least May has been long abandoned.

TheGamingRevolution has been suspended in the past for his Call of Duty leaks, indicating that he has been correct in his predictions and thus annoying Activision in the process. If he is right this time around, it would certainly be an odd way to unveil what should be an exciting new COD.

Many have theorized that the next Call of Duty will be based in Vietnam, will be called Cold War, or will be a reboot of Black Ops. Regardless of what it may be, the idea that the reveal will seem unofficial is odd. This is already the longest fans have ever had to wait for a new mainline Call of Duty announcement. When the reveal finally takes place, one can only hope that it will be more interesting than a simple teaser inside of the battle royale.
