Mandatory warm-up

Complete training on Tenzen.

Automatically unlocked after finishing the tutorial at the start of the Story.

Check your route from the remote view mode.

Press L1/LB + Triangle/Y.

Those who come back down

Meet a broken climbot.

Automatically unlocked as part of the story, fairly early on.

Ain't scared

Jump from the ground and latch onto the wall.

Perform a running jump with R2/RT + Cross/A into a wall.

Just a bit too late

Fall while planting a piton.

Go to place a piton while Aava is shaking extremely, or purposefully fail the skill check when doing so. Make sure you're not in danger of death.

Leave no trace

Compost 10 trash items.

Do this in the backpack by hovering over plastic wraps, for example, and then hold the compost button to make more chalk.

Not even a scratch

Survive a 15-meter fall.

Be at full health and save before attempting this. Ideally, the fall won't be much more than 15 metres.

Moment of cool

Take a break at the waterfall.

Automatically unlocked as part of the story. Partway up Mount Kami, Aava will go to shower in the waterfall.

Kami sashimi

Catch a fish.

Upon reaching the waterfall, there are a few places where Aava can catch fish with her hands in the shallow water. One is inside a cave.

Interloper on the wall

Meet Marco

Just before climbing up to the Troglodyte village, Aava will meet another climber on the wall.

Lactic acid

Recover stamina by shaking your arm over 50 times.

Press Triangle/Y while resting on the wall. Repeat this 50 times.

Serious training

Open the box in the gym room.

Climb all 8 walls in the climbing gym at the start. There's a locked box near the wall that leads to Tenzen.

Siesta

Enjoy a nice outdoor nap.

Hold L2/LT to bring up the secondary options. Then hold down on the D-Pad to rest.

End of the Rope

Reach the furthest extent of the rope.

Use a piton at the top of a high wall and then rappel down it until the rope runs out.

Hungry like a wolf

Loot food from a corpse.

Corpses can be found in many locations throughout the climb.

Close call

Survive a near-deadly fall.

Attempt this after saving at a Bivouac. You need to lose most of your health, but survive.

Honey heist

Collect wild honey from the wall.

After finding the honey cave, honey can occasionally be found in the walls of the climb.

Everything else disappears

Witness an aurora borealis.

Automatically unlocked as part of the story at the end of the terraces section.

All that glitters

Find glow-in-the-dark gloves.

These gloves can be found in the village. There is a section of the cave with lots of glowing green/yellow crystals. Climb up this difficult wall to an opening up top.

Lick responsibly

Become woozy from licking a frog.

Frogs can be found in caves during the standing stones and the vault sections of the climb.

Nurse

Tape your fingers 20 times.

This is done in Aava's tent, but you'll need to loot more tape, as she only starts with enough to do this 10 times.

Grizzly woman

Survive the bear.

While climbing up the hundred steps location, there are some stairs leading to a cave. Loot the corpse at the back, and because one of the items is syrup, a bear will appear. Sprint for the exit, and it will not follow you out of the cave.

No thanks

Manually interrupt Marco's mumbling.

During the story, Marco will follow Aava for a while and will talk a lot. Players will get a prompt to ask him to be quiet.

Bag maniac

Did you really think you could keep your bag tidy?

Shake the backpack and grab items manually until the Trophy/Achievement pops.

Light up the sky

Shoot fireworks.

Fireworks can be found during the terraces or shortcut section. After finding them, head to a pile of rocks with a red rope around them. Resting here will give Aava the option to fire them off.

Leap of faith

Run and jump into the void while on the rope.

Place a piton at the top of a wall. The run and jump with R2/R1 + Cross/A.

The Child

Find the first guardian's troglodyte piton.

During the child section, there is a giant statue. The piton is found in a glowing troglodyte room on a pedestal.

One hell of a night

Wake up on the mountain in top shape.

Unlocked automatically as part of the story after finishing the peril section.

Herbalist

Cook the ultimate infusion.

Cook a flower or herb with water. Then cook another herb with the result of this. Finally, repeat with a third herb.

Heartbeat

Find the Edelweiss flower.

During the needle section of the climb, there is a huge rock pillar to climb. A third of the way up there is a doorway, and inside is a corpse with the flower and an important note.

Red Rope Club

Make an alcoholic cocktail.

Cook any meal with alcohol. Booze or Grog can be found in the shortcut section of the story and at points after this.

Meteorologist

Assemble the 3 doll pieces.

Find the three pieces of the Troglodyte Doll and assemble them. They are found in the following sections: the child, the standing stones, and the vault.

One day, I'll be rich!

Bring all crystal shards to the crystal cutter.

The crystal cutter is located in the palace of wind. The crystals are nearby.

Aava Porter Bridges

Deliver Rody's letter to the shepherdess.

Find the letter from Rody in the village and then hand it to the shepherdess when you reach the vault.

Return to Source

Catch a weird salamander.

Found during the secret section of the climb via a door on the left. It is a glowing lizard.

Neither a success, nor a failure

Meet Damas Al Fatri.

Automatically unlocked during the story, as part of the blades section.

The Secret

Find the third guardian's troglodyte piton.

During the secret section there is a door to an indoor area. Climb up a door way near a frozen waterfall. Around here, look for a model of Mount Kami and there is a piton here.

Luxurious grip

Compost coins.

Grab a coin from the vending machine in the tutorial section. Compost the coin in your climbot to make chalk.

Upstream

Survive the avalanche.

Automatically unlocked after the main story by chatting to Marco and continuing the climb.

The Ancient

Find the second guardian's troglodyte piton.

There is an optional area that can be rappelled down from at the end of a wooden bridge after climbing the two hundred steps. Inside a glowing troglodyte room is another room in the shape of a tree. Find the piton here.

Part of a whole

Reach Kami's summit.

Complete the game by reaching the top of the mountain.

I did it!

Reach mini-Kami summit.

During the secret section, there is a door to an indoor area. Climb up a doorway near a frozen waterfall. Around here, look for a model of Mount Kami and climb on top of it.

Your story

Review your path to the summit.

After the credits, there is an option to rewatch your route.

Doped up

Combine the effects of burst, grip, extra grip, focus, and grit in one go.

These are obtained from different foods and drinks, although extra grip comes from chalk.

Love birds

Let loose Rody and Johanna's Kite.

During the secret section, there are two peaks. Go to the right one, and by the Bivouac, there are wooden platforms. There is a box here that allows you to release kites.

In Memoriam

Place the origami in the shelter.

An Origami Lynx is in a hidden cave during the peril section. Upon finding the Damas' shelter during the blades section, find a room with backpacks and place the origami.

Don't stop me now

Climb 30 meters without using a piton.

Use chalk and buffs from food and drink to help you.

Master chocolatier

Cook up an easter egg.

Cook chocolate with water. Then cook the chocolate drink with an egg.

Spotted!

Use the binoculars to spot Marco.

During the shortcut section, climb up the cable car station. Through the binoculars, look back in the direction you came until you see another climber.

Home

Go back down with Marco.

At the end of the game, choose to go home when talking to Marco, rather than continuing the climb.

Engineer

Craft 15 pitons from scraps.

You need 2 scraps to remake 1 piton. This can be done in the tent.
