Brawl Stars is a multiplayer mobile game that boasts a vast array of playable brawlers, each with a set of unique abilities. With over 80 brawlers of different rarities in the game and a new one being added each month, there are plenty of options for players.
Mythic brawlers are the second hardest rarity of brawler to earn, only behind Legendary, and there are 26 of them in the game. For this reason, it’s crucial for players to know which mythic brawlers are the best, so that they can make an educated decision when choosing which ones to unlock first. This ranking will cover the best mythic brawlers, including their strengths, weaknesses, and how they’re best used. It will also consider how easy the brawler is to use and how good they are in a range of modes.
10 Buster
Projects A Shield That Deflects Enemy Projectiles
- Class: Tank
- Movement Speed: Fast
- Range: Normal
- Health: 10,000
- Damage: 2,760 (max range), 1,380 (min range)
Buster is a powerful tank who is excellent at protecting himself and his teammates. Buster’s shield is his super ability, which he can charge by staying close to his teammates. Any enemy projectiles that hit the shield are blocked and deflected back at the enemy, dealing damage if they hit. While Buster is great at blocking certain attacks, he is susceptible to throwers who can damage him over the top of his shield. Plus, if a brawler gets close enough to pass through the shield, they can also damage Buster.
Buster’s main attack pierces enemies and deals more damage the closer the range, helping Buster to take out brawlers who advance on him. Overall, Buster can be a game-changer with his shield, but his reliance on teammates to support him means he isn’t the strongest in a range of situations.
9 Tara
Summons An Enemy Pulling Portal
- Class: Damage Dealer
- Movement Speed: Normal
- Range: Long
- Health: 6,200
- Damage Per Card: 960
Tara throws three tarot cards that deal good damage and pierce through enemies, but it’s her super where she really shines. Once charged, Tara can throw down a portal that pulls all enemies within a 4-tile radius into its center before exploding. A well-placed portal can easily wipe out the entire enemy team by clumping them together and making use of Tara’s piercing cards. It’s especially effective when used in tandem with other friendly brawlers’ abilities.
Despite this, the portal’s slow projectile speed can make it difficult to land, particularly when trying to catch multiple enemy brawlers at once. Additionally, Tara’s slow reload speed means she struggles to take out high-health brawlers, often relying on her teammates to help.
8 Lou
Freezes Areas And Enemies
- Class: Controller
- Movement Speed: Normal
- Range: Very Long
- Health: 6,400
- Damage Per Snow Cone: 880
Lou has a chilling ability that makes the toughest of enemies shiver. Lou throws three snow cones per attack and with each one that lands, a frost meter is filled beside the hit brawler’s health bar. Once the meter is filled (equivalent to seven cones), the enemy is stunned for 1.5 seconds, giving Lou and his teammates an easy target to hit. However, the slow projectile speed of Lou’s cones makes them more difficult to land than most projectiles, so good aim is essential.
Brawl Stars Codes (January 2025)
If you want to support your favorite blogger and are looking for Brawl Stars creator codes, here's a complete list and a guide on how to use them.
For his super, Lou throws down a large, icy surface that is slippery for enemies, deals a little damage, and fills the frost meter by 12.6% per second, making it great at controlling large areas of the map. Plus, Lou’s hypercharge, Slushie Storm, instantly freezes enemies who are hit by Lou’s super when it is initially thrown down, which makes him even better in control game modes.
7 Otis
Silences Enemies With A Starfish
- Class: Controller
- Movement Speed: Normal
- Range: Long
- Health: 6,400
- Damage Per Paint Blob: 920
Shooting three blobs of paint at enemies, Otis does good damage at most ranges, particularly with his Ink Refills star power, which adds a fourth blob of paint to each attack. For his super, Otis shoots Cil, his starfish friend, who is the star of the show. If Cil lands on an enemy, he stops them from attacking or using any star powers, gadgets, or hypercharges for 3 seconds while also dealing decent damage per second.
While the affected brawler can still move, they can’t fight back, giving Otis and his teammates a free kill if there isn’t any cover for the enemy to retreat to. It is also great at dealing with close-range brawlers since Otis can stop them from attacking and then take them out quickly while up close.
6 Gene
Gene Only Has One Wish, To Pull You Closer
- Class: Controller
- Movement Speed: Normal
- Range: Very Long
- Health: 7,200
- Damage: 2,000
- Split Damage: 326
Gene shoots a ball of smoke from his lamp which splits into smaller balls if it doesn’t hit a target, dealing good damage at close and medium range, and chip damage at very long range. This chip damage helps to charge Gene’s powerful super, which has a long range and can pull a single enemy brawler toward him.
Gene’s pull is especially useful in Gem Grab, where Gene can grab the enemy teams' gem carriers if they’re not careful. It is also great in other modes, helping to isolate enemies and take them out. Gene’s, Magic Puffs, star power also allows Gene to heal nearby teammates, increasing his support capabilities.
5 Charlie
Puts Enemies Into A Cocoon
- Class: Controller
- Movement Speed: Normal
- Range: Long
- Health: 6,600
- Damage: 1,520
Charlie is another brawler whose strongest asset is her super. For it, Charlie shoots a bundle of hair that can trap an enemy brawler in a cocoon if it hits. The cocoon has high health which decays by 20% every second and can be damaged by enemies. The cocoon allows Charlie to effectively remove an enemy brawler from the field for a short time, allowing her and her team to either aggress or fall back depending on the situation.
Best Mobile Games For Couples
These titles are perfect for couples looking to spend quality time together using mobile video games.
For Charlie’s attack, she throws her yo-yo at enemies, which returns to her upon either hitting an enemy, hitting a wall, or reaching its maximum distance. Therefore, the closer an enemy brawler is, the faster Charlie can throw her yo-yo and the more damage she can do.
4 Max
Speed Has A New Name
- Class: Support
- Movement Speed: Very Fast
- Range: Long
- Health: 6,600
- Damage Per Projectile: 640
Max is a very fast brawler whose super and hypercharge can boost nearby teammates’ movement speed for a short time. This can be paired with close-range brawlers, allowing them to quickly get close to enemies to take them out. Max herself may not be the best at close or long range, but her fast movement speed allows her to quickly engage and disengage in fights as she chooses.
Plus, her attack that shoots a spread of small projectiles at her enemies makes her an all-around great brawler in most situations. Max’s Run n’ Gun star power makes her even better since it allows her to reload faster when moving. Add this to her already fast reload speed and Max can constantly fire projectiles at the enemy while supporting her team.
3 Byron
Gradually Heals Teammates And Damages Enemies
- Class: Support
- Movement Speed: Normal
- Range: Very Long
- Health: 4,800
- Damage/Heal Per Second: 760 x 3
Byron is an excellent heal-based support brawler, with a great regular attack and super. His attack shoots a long-ranged dart which restores health to teammates and deals damage to enemies over time. This enables him to continually provide healing for friendly brawlers while still being able to defend himself from enemies. Byron’s biggest weakness is at close range as he struggles to deal large amounts of burst damage.
His best way of dealing with a close-range brawler is his super which throws down a vial that shatters on impact, dealing damage or healing each respective target within its splash radius. This allows him to heal himself and deal good damage to the aggressing brawler. Overall, remaining behind the team and providing support is the best way to utilize Byron.
2 Lily
Don't Get Close
- Class: Assassin
- Movement Speed: Very Fast
- Range: Short
- Health: 8,200
- Damage: 2,120
As a speedy, close-range damage dealer who can teleport to enemies, Lily is incredible at closing the gap and taking out opponents. Each of Lily’s attacks pierces enemies and deals high damage, allowing her to dispatch most brawlers in a few shots at close range. Additionally, her Vanish star power grants Lily the ability to enter the shadow realm for three seconds, allowing her to sneakily get close to enemies, evade their attacks, or escape battles.
Brawl Stars: Every Legendary Brawler, Ranked From Worst To Best
Brawl Stars currently features 11 Legendary Brawlers for players to make use of. Here is how they compare to one another.
Lily’s super is even more crucial for getting close to enemies. For her super, she throws a seed at an enemy and teleports to them if it hits. Furthermore, Lily’s super passively charges when she is within a 5-tile range of an enemy, making it much easier to get.
1 Clancy
Damage Dealer Who Can Claw Back Victory From The Jaws Of Defeat
- Class: Damage Dealer
- Movement Speed: Normal
- Range: Long
- Health: 6,600
- Damage Per Paintball: 1,600
As the most recent brawler in Brawl Stars, Clancy has already made a name for himself with his high damage output at most distances. Initially, Clancy is a below-average brawler, shooting one paintball per attack, which gives him a token if he hits an enemy brawler. However, once Clancy gains nine tokens, he upgrades to stage two, shooting two paintballs with each attack. After acquiring another 15 tokens at stage two, Clancy upgrades to stage three, where he shoots two more paintballs to the side with each attack.
Each stage also upgrades his super, which shoots a cone of paintballs in front of Clancy, dealing huge damage to brawlers who are close by and dealing good, but inconsistent damage at range. At stage 3, Clancy becomes a terror for the enemy, dealing huge damage up close and at range. Moreover, unlike Surge, Clancy keeps his upgrades when he respawns, increasing his power for the whole game. Plus, Clancy’s Pumping Up star power helps him wipe out a whole team by himself by replenishing his ammo after each brawler he defeats.
