In between quests, players will get a chance to view the Party Chat by clicking "Y" when prompted. Party Chat offers tips, hints, and information from their Party Members regarding quests. Check Party Chat frequently, as players will lose access to certain ones after leaving the area where they were triggered.
Main story quests typically have the best rewards, giving players large amounts of EXP, JP, and gold. Players also unlock several Jobs through the main quests. Jobs determine what skills, spells, attacks, and special abilities the four party members have. Players can use a mixture of Jobs to ensure they have a balanced party, particularly in hard areas when the monsters that spawn are stronger.
While it may be tempting to only equip combat Jobs, players should ensure they have at least one healer.
Two of the chapters feature two endings, depending on the decisions players make at the end of the game. They will have the opportunity to access both endings if they choose.
