Developed by London-based Balloon Studios, Botany Manor is a relaxing puzzler that tasks players with growing magical plants in the English countryside. It was originally released in early April 2024, debuting on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A PlayStation port of the game was initially announced as releasing on December 17. A day ahead of that planned launch, Pennsylvania-based publisher Whitethorn Games announced that the PlayStation versions of Botany Manor were being delayed. The company cited a desire to ensure that "players have the best experience possible" as the reason for the postponement, adding that it would share a new release date in 2025.

Whitethorn made good on that promise on January 9, announcing that the Botany Manor PlayStation port is set to debut on January 28. While the game has now twice locked in a release date, it still doesn't have a page on the PS Store, so PS4 and PS5 owners will have to wait a bit longer until they are able to wishlist it.
The PlayStation port of Botany Manor will likely be priced at $24.99, same as its other versions. The game is a one-time purchase that's free of microtransactions. While Steam users are able to buy its digital soundtrack separately, this add-on is absent from the Switch and Xbox versions of Botany Manor, so it will likely be unavailable on the PS Store as well.

Following its PS Store launch, Botany Manor will have reached all of its initially announced target platforms. Balloon Studios has yet to reveal what it's going to work on next after it's done porting its debut game. Aside from Botany Manor, January 28 will also see roguelite Cuisineer, action RPG Eternal Strands, and tactical stealth game The Sone of Madness land on the PS Store.

Explore a complete historical English manor and its grounds, researching how to grow rare plant specimens from seed. There are many rooms and gardens to discover, all set inside a beautiful countryside surrounding. The manor is filled with mysterious clues for you to discover, including books, posters, letters and fascinating Victorian contraptions.
The plants you grow are fantastical, but still inspired by real phenomena in nature, so some of them require you to think outside the box. Using what's available to you in the manor, you must create the ideal conditions for each plant. Room by room, you learn more about the life and career of Arabella, and the challenges she faced as a woman navigating her scientific career.
