Boruto: Two Blue Vortex (Boruto TBV) expands the Naruto lore in an amazing way by introducing new mysteries and interesting events that breathe life into this universe. The Human God Trees, also known as Shinju Clones, are not only an important addition to the universe of Naruto, but also the main antagonists in the current story arc.
However, Boruto TBV Chapter 21 suggests that this arc may be reaching its climax, and a new arc focused on different enemies may begin soon. Boruto Uzumaki is seemingly about to fight Jura, but what should the story focus on after this enemy is finally defeated?

What Are The Shinju Clones in Boruto?
The original Naruto series introduces the Divine Trees, also known as God Trees; gigantic trees that were worshipped as gods, but actually drain the planet's chakra energy, eventually leading to its doom. The Otsutsuki clan cultivates these trees to create a Chakra Fruit, in order to become even more powerful — that's how Kaguya Otsutsuki ended up on Earth and, in a twist of events, was partly responsible for the creation of ninshu, ninjutsu and the Uzumaki, Senju, Uchiha and Hyuga clans.
However, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex introduces an evolved form of the God Trees: the Human God Trees. While there are still things to be explained, the Human God Trees were created by Code's actions when he used his Claw Mark to create Claw Grimes. The Human God Trees are created when a person is consumed by a Claw Grime. The person is then engulfed by a small tree, generating a Human God Tree with a similar appearance and chakra signature to the person consumed. They are also called Shinju Clones by fans.
How Powerful Are Human God Trees?
Although the Shinju Clones are aware that Code is their creator, they consider themselves more powerful than him. Thus, instead of following Code, they follow another Shinju Clone, Jura, who was created by Code's Ten-Tails and is apparently the strongest clone.
Each Human God Tree has a target, someone related to the person whom the Shinju Clone resembles (their "template"). For example, Hidari, who was created after a Claw Grime ate Sasuke Uchiha, has Sarada Uchiha as his target. Jura is looking for Himawari and Naruto Uzumaki due to their relation with the Nine Tails.
Will Jura Soon Be Defeated in Boruto TBV?
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 21 ended on a cliffhanger, suggesting that Boruto Uzumaki would finally fight Jura after Sarada's battle with Ryu, in which she reawakened the Mangekyo Sharingan and used an overpowered jutsu called Ohirume. With Konohamaru Sarutobi apparently about to die in his fight against Matsuri and Sarada now unconscious after using all her strength, Boruto Uzumaki decides to intervene to help Konohamaru.

Feeling that Boruto is close, Jura also decides to join the battle — the stage seems to be set for a big battle between them. However, it may still be too soon to finish this arc, so Jura may not be defeated right away. An official preview of Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 22 confirms that Jura will be in the battle and may even get a power-up, but what will happen exactly is still unknown. It is not hard to imagine, though, that Jura will either be defeated or join forces with the main characters at some point in the story.
The Series Should Focus on the Otsutsuki Clan
Following the Human God Trees arc, it would be interesting for the series to focus on the Otsutsuki clan, who are closely related to the God Trees. In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, the Otsutsuki clan are presented as the main antagonists — both Boruto and Kawaki see them as their enemies (and that's actually the reason why Kawaki wants to kill Boruto).
However, even though many events in the story may be happening directly or indirectly due to the actions of Otsutsuki clan members, there is little concrete information about them. We know that the clan (or at least some of its members) can be described as space colonizers who don't care if their actions lead to the death of other planets and beings, but we don't know much about the clan's structure, origins, and who exactly they are. For example, in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, it was revealed that Kaguya Otsutsuki was a low-ranking member of the clan, and therefore she shouldn't ever have eaten the Chakra Fruit. Then, who gave the order, and who would eat the Chakra Fruit? Kaguya was expected to serve as a sacrifice, but why would she simply agree to it? There are many mysteries surrounding this clan, and it would be great if the story moved forward and provided a few answers after the Shinju Clones arc ends.
