- Naruto may become the Ten Tails Jinchuriki, offering a solution to his weakened state and the Ten Tails threat.
- Becoming the Ten Tails Jinchuriki would elevate Naruto's power, allowing him to face upcoming threats in the Boruto series.
Naruto Uzumaki is one of the most iconic characters to have ever come out of the world of anime and manga. As the protagonist of Naruto, fans absolutely loved Naruto Uzumaki. However, Naruto's charisma has not been maintained throughout the Boruto series. In fact, fans were absolutely astonished upon seeing the treatment that Naruto received in the Boruto series, and while he certainly isn't the only one on the receiving end of horrible treatment, fans feel it extra because he is the most important character in the entire franchise.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 15: What To Expect
Boruto TBV chapter 15 will focus on the events unfolding in Sunagakure. The Shinju get a new member.
That is not to say that Naruto Uzumaki cannot regain his former status in the series. While Naruto might be sealed right now, he could grow further in terms of strength once he returns, and that could end up happening sooner rather than later. In fact, Naruto might even get a Tailed Beast later down the line, and it might not be Kurama.
The Death of Kurama In Boruto Was A Shock To The Fans
- Kurama Helped Naruto Use Baryon Mode
- Bayron Mode Caused Kurama's Death
Quite easily, one of the most shocking things that fans got to see in the Boruto series came towards the end of the first part, which was when the fight against Isshiki Otsutsuki took place. In this fight, Naruto Uzumaki tapped into a completely new power, called Baryon Mode, and this ability allowed him to create a new source of energy, but at a massive cost. Of course, the cost for this power was his life, and that of Kurama. Naruto would definitely have died, but, thankfully, he survived this blow. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for Kurama, and this battle essentially meant that he ended up dying. After the death of Kurama, Naruto was left incredibly weak.
You be well, Naruto! – Kurama
Even though he showcased powers of an upgraded version of Sage Mode, Naruto was still nowhere near his former level, and he could not compete against the threats that were posed by the likes of the Kara members, or any Otsutsuki that would invade in the future. This essentially meant that Naruto Uzumaki was perpetually in danger and this is why Kawaki made a massive decision. He decided to seal Naruto Uzumaki while he eliminated all his enemies for him, and establish a world where Naruto was going to be safe at all times, and this essentially meant that Naruto was cut out of his own franchise in a very significant manner.
Naturally, fans were not entirely happy about it, but now, they have made their peace with it. Still, fans know that Naruto Uzumaki is the soul of the franchise, and at some point later down the line, he absolutely has to return, and finally rise to the top once again.
Why Naruto Might Need Another Tailed Beast
Naruto Needs To Be Relevant In A World of Monsters
Right now, Naruto Uzumaki is sealed in the dimension of Daikokuten. Fans know that this Jutsu belongs to Kawaki right now, and he is keeping Naruto locked away. But, he cannot keep Naruto there forever. At some point, Kawaki has to release Naruto once again, and when that happens, fans will finally get to see their favorite Seventh Hokage once again.
Furthermore, fans also know that Kawaki and Boruto end up fighting at some point in the future of the Boruto series. This fight is likely going to be the decisive one that essentially decides the fate of Naruto Uzumaki. At the end of this battle, fans can expect Kawaki to let Naruto go, and when that happens, fans will see him return once again.
I will send you to the same place I sent the Seventh, Boruto! – Kawaki
However, with the return of Naruto, there is no guarantee that threats will cease to exist. Konoha will still be threatened by many powers in the world, such as the Otsutsuki, and potentially even the likes of the Shinju, if they still exist. As such, Naruto Uzumaki's responsibility as Hokage would be paramount. Naruto cannot rely on Sage Mode, which is something that was proven in the first part of the Boruto series.
In Two Blue Vortex, Naruto will have to level up even further if he is to defend his title of Hokage and show everyone that he's still capable of carrying out these responsibilities.
Sage Mode isn't enough, and fans know that in one way or another, Naruto has to level up significantly. The best way Naruto can ascend to a higher level would be through becoming a Jinchuriki once again. Naturally, Naruto can't gain access to Kurama once again. This is simply down to the fact that Kurama now belongs to none other than Himawari Uzumaki. She is the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails, and she will continue to hold this Beast for the foreseeable future. For Naruto, Kurama is not an option anymore, which means that the only option that he's left with is the Ten Tails. Thankfully for Naruto Uzumaki, the Ten Tails certainly does exist in the story. In fact, the Ten Tails was revealed quite early into the series, and right now, it can be said that it serves as one of the main antagonists, given that the Shinju come directly from it.
Boruto: Madara Uchiha's Potential Revival, Explained
Madara Uchiha is one of the most fearsome characters to have ever appeared in Naruto. He could potentially be making a comeback in Boruto.
Eventually, the Ten Tails will be dealt with, and when that happens, a juvenile tailed beast will need to be placed somewhere. The perfect place for this Ten-Tails would be inside Naruto Uzumaki. This would also mirror how Hagoromo Otsutsuki became the Jinchuriki of the Ten Tails and started a major legend of his own. Naruto Uzumaki could do something similar with a different 10 Tails.
Could Naruto Become The 10 Tails Jinchuriki?
Naruto Can Gain New Powers By Sealing The Ten Tails Inside Himself
The answer to the question of whether Naruto can become the Ten Tails Jinchuriki or not is a resounding yes. There is absolutely no reason as to why Naruto cannot become a Jinchuriki again. He has the experience of being a Jinchuriki, and, having been the Hokage for so long, Naruto knows everything about the Ten-Tails and controlling it as well. Furthermore, the Ten-Tails needs to be dealt with in one way or another, and as fans know, this power cannot simply be destroyed. Tailed Beasts can't simply vanish, and they need to be placed somewhere. The best way to utilize and harness their power is by becoming a Jinchuriki, and that is what Naruto should be doing.
This would solve two problems in Boruto, as it would give Naruto relevance once again, and at the same time, it would also ensure that the problem of the Ten Tails doesn't exist on Earth anymore. Hopefully, the Boruto series takes this path and makes Naruto a Jinchuriki once again, with even greater powers.
As the Jinchuriki of the Ten Tails, Naruto Uzumaki would then ascend to the next level. He would be able to fight against the Otsutsuki once again, and his power would be absolutely immense. Hopefully, fans will see Naruto reach sky-high levels once again in the future, and this is something that the fans would absolutely love as well.
Boruto is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of Boruto, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15, is set to be October 20, 2024.
