Two Blue Vortex Chapter 24 Might Finally Bring Back Momoshiki Otsutsuki

There's No Sighting of Momoshiki Yet

No one has seen Momoshiki Otsutsuki in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex following his last appearance in Naruto: Next Generations to this day. Not even a single flashback or memory has brought him back, despite the complicated situation involving Code, Kawaki, and the Humanoid God Trees. Yet still, fans are looking for him, hoping to see his long-awaited return in the succeeding chapters of the series.

The day of Momoshiki’s return remains unclear, as do his current intentions. Whether he will support Boruto in achieving his goals or maintain his hostile behavior and plans to take over the body of his host is still up for discussion. Some fans are hopeful he will form a bond with Boruto similar to that of Naruto and Kurama, but there are some who believe otherwise when he returns.

Despite Momoshiki’s disappearance, his presence can still be felt through Boruto and the many characters who fear the Otsutsuki clan. If this wasn’t enough, the recent events in the manga seemingly hint at his long-speculated appearance due to the actions and decisions of both Boruto and Kawaki. After all, Two Blue Vortex is at the height of the fight against the God Trees, where Boruto and Kawaki surprisingly agreed to fight side by side.

Kawaki’s Arrival in Chapter 23 Could Trigger Momoshiki’s Return

Kawaki and Boruto’s Karma Resonance

Whenever Kawaki and Boruto fight together, it often ends up in a disaster, with one of them trying to kill the other. Kawaki even killed Boruto once without hesitation, for the sake of Naruto’s safety. He’s clearly not fond of his rogue brother, who has been suffering from Momoshiki’s predatory intentions from the very beginning. Despite this, he agreed to a temporary truce to resolve the serious threat brought upon by Jura and the God Trees.

In Two Blue Vortex chapter 23, Kawaki’s arrival gave hope to the many fans who couldn’t wait to see him spring into action after Amado removed his limiters. He is obviously stronger than before, so much so that even Jura felt the intensity of his increased power level. However, his participation in Boruto’s showdown with Jura could open the door for Momoshiki to return to chapter 24 because of karma resonance.

For context, Kawaki’s karma can involuntarily activate Boruto’s karma whenever they’re in close contact. Fans have seen it happen repeatedly in Part 1, so it would not be a surprise if it happens again in Two Blue Vortex. While Boruto has been doing a good job keeping Momoshiki at bay, he might struggle to control it the longer the fight against Jura drags on, resulting in Momoshiki’s appearance.

Momoshiki’s Return Is Already Confirmed

It’s Only a Matter of When

Momoshiki Otsutsuki is going to return sooner or later in the Boruto manga, whether fans like it or not. He remains a relevant character who could dictate not just Boruto’s fate but also the course of the world despite lying low for the time being. He could appear in Two Blue Vortex chapter 24, given the opening Kawaki’s arrival provided, if not in the succeeding chapters.

Boruto Part 1 clearly established that Momoshiki would die in the event that Boruto dies again. There are no second chances for both of them unless Kishimoto shakes things up, in which case either one of them could live. For now, fans know that Momoshiki is set to appear should Boruto face a life-or-death situation sometime in the future.
