Boruto Part 1 started off quite well for Naruto Uzumaki, but the ending wasn't to the liking of the fans. Naruto was at the peak of his powers at the beginning when he clashed against Momoshiki, and later on, during his battle against Isshiki, he unleashed a power that was unprecedented. That said, this is also the battle that ended up being the downfall of Naruto Uzumaki. In this battle, Naruto Uzumaki ended up losing his lifelong partner, Kurama. Kurama essentially sacrificed himself for the sake of Naruto Uzumaki, and ensured victory over Isshiki Otsutsuki.

Following Naruto's victory over Isshiki, he lost his powers and all he had left was Sage Mode. Needless to say, this was a major nerf for him but what came next was even worse. Naruto Uzumaki was simply sealed away later down the line by none other than Kawaki, as he set out on the mission to kill Boruto Uzumaki and all the other Otsutsuki. Now, Naruto Uzumaki remains sealed, but when he does return, he will be stronger.

Naruto And Sasuke Are Always Equals
It is no surprise to know that Naruto Uzumaki will gain a new power when he does come back. Although some fans might be against the idea, given that this story isn't exactly about him, the basis for it has already been set through Sasuke. While Naruto Uzumaki was sealed off in Boruto, Sasuke trained for over a year with Boruto Uzumaki. During this time, Sasuke got even stronger. In fact, Sasuke got so strong that he even surpassed his former self with the Rinnegan. This is clear from the fact that Sasuke was able to take the eye of a Code with his limiters off, which should make him stronger than the same Jigen that Sasuke, with the Rinnegan, couldn't even scratch in battle. On top of everything, Sasuke even fought the Claw Grimes on the side, yet managed to overwhelm and injure Code. Clearly, Sasuke is stronger than ever before.

Boruto: Kishimoto Just Revealed A New Otsutsuki Level Character
The Otsutsuki are the most powerful clan in Boruto and Naruto. Kishimoto reveals a character on that level.
One thing that Naruto fans need to keep in mind is that Sasuke and Naruto always grow together. If Sasuke is stronger now, then Naruto will catch up, and that basically means he'll get a new power-up.
What Will Naruto's New Power Be?
Naturally, fans wanted Kurama to return to Naruto, but that won't happen anymore as the beast is with Himawari. This means Naruto only has two ways of growing strong. The first is to simply hone his Sage Mode and take his powers to the next level, which isn't all that convincing. The second, however, is interesting. Naruto could re-establish his connection with the remaining Tailed Beasts and get a portion of their chakra. As such, Naruto could once again gain the powers of the Tailed Beasts and become like a pseudo-Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, which would allow him to match Sasuke, and fight evenly with even the strongest characters in the story.
