In the official preview for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 21, fans see Sasuke Uchiha talk about Sarada's Mangekyo Sharingan. According to him, Sarada's Mangekyo Sharingan awakening was a significant event and means that something sinister is happening behind the scenes. His daughter told him that they were all being tricked in regards to Boruto Uzumaki being labeled as the killer of the Seventh Hokage. For Sasuke, Sarada awakening her Mangekyo Sharingan is enough of a reason to fully trust her.
He also goes on to state that Sarada's eyes will be a great power that will fight the calamity that the world is facing. In other words, Sarada's powers are great enough to help counter the threat of Kawaki and Omnipotence. As fans know, Omnipotence changed the whole world, which means that Sarada Uchiha has the power to change the world itself with her Mangekyo Sharingan, at least that's what Sasuke believes.
