This article contains spoilers from the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is not yet done with giving fans the most exciting chapters. There’s no stopping Kishimoto and Ikemoto from pushing Boruto Uzumaki to his limits, as each new chapter raises the stakes and tests his resolve. He needs to grow stronger than anyone else at this point, and to achieve that, Boruto should train under a new teacher in Two Blue Vortex.
The Boruto manga has been generous in giving its titular protagonist powerful teachers. Boruto is not only Sasuke Uchiha’s disciple, but he also trained under Kashin Koji for quite some time. He has grown so much stronger than he was before, but training under Momoshiki Otsutsuki might be a game-changer for Boruto from this point forward.
Boruto: Kishimoto Reveals Boruto Uzumaki's Ultimate Power-Up
Boruto Uzumaki has an ultimate power up in store, one that will make him surpass Naruto.
Boruto Trained Under Sasuke Uchiha and Kashin Koji
Boruto Learned Advanced Techniques
- Sasuke Uchiha and Kashin Koji Are Boruto's Mentors
- Boruto Learned Rasengan Uzuhiko, and Flying Thunder God
Teachers are essential in the world of Boruto. They guide the next generation by passing down their knowledge, sharpening their abilities, and shaping their values. In Boruto Uzumaki’s case, he trained under the legendary Sasuke Uchiha, who hammered everything he knew about swordsmanship, strategy, survival, combat, and all things related to jutsu into his student without fail.
While Sasuke deserves the credit for raising Boruto as a responsible shinobi, Boruto himself also deserves respect for the time, patience, and hard work he invested in training. Without his determination to grow stronger, it would not have been possible for him to master advanced techniques like one of the strongest variants of Rasengan, Uzuhiko, which he used against a powerful villain like Code after the time skip.
Even if times change, the soul of a shinobi remains.—Sasuke Uchiha
Unfortunately, Boruto and Sasuke had to part ways after the latter turned into a tree. But even if Sasuke did not turn into a tree, he made it clear that he had taught Boruto everything he knew. Then there’s Kashin Koji, who saves the day and trains Boruto shortly after Sasuke goes out of commission. Under Koji, Boruto successfully learned advanced techniques of his future self in such a short amount of time, thanks to prescience.
Momoshiki Otsutsuki Might Be Boruto’s New Teacher
Momoshiki Will Teach Boruto How to Master Karma
- Boruto asked for Momoshiki's help.
- Momoshiki knows how to control karma.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 25 left many fans hanging on yet another cliffhanger. It ends with Boruto seeking Momoshiki Otsutsuki’s help to defeat Jura. It seems like Boruto has no choice but to rely on Momoshiki’s power to take down a powerful villain like Jura. However, Momoshiki’s answer, whether he agrees to Boruto’s proposal, is not yet confirmed, but it is most likely that he will be convinced, considering the weight of his compensation.
Could you… consider… lending me a hand? —Boruto to Momoshiki
If Momoshiki Otsutsuki agrees to Boruto’s proposal, Momoshiki would lend his power to Boruto, while Boruto would surrender his body without hesitation to Momoshiki. It’s a win-win situation, where they will eventually accomplish their personal goals. That said, Momoshiki Otsutsuki should eventually become Boruto’s new teacher, guiding him on how to control and maximize his full power.
If there’s anyone who knows how Boruto can control the full power of karma, it would only be Momoshiki Otsutsuki. Unless Momoshiki rejects Boruto’s proposal, their partnership could become the key to unlocking karma’s true potential. This might be the only way for Boruto to defeat Jura for now, as the direct incarnation of the Ten Tails is far superior to Boruto and Kawaki at the moment.
Boruto and Momoshiki's Partnership Is Possible
A Bond Different From Naruto and Kurama
- Boruto and Momoshiki have an antagonistic relationship.
- Boruto and Momoshiki's relationship will change over time.
The events of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 25 gave many fans hope that Boruto and Momoshiki could form a bond like what Naruto and Kurama have. After all, some parallels can’t be ignored. Kurama was once hostile to Naruto, until it came to a point where his antagonistic relationship with Naruto transformed into one of mutual trust and understanding. The same scenario is becoming more possible for Boruto and Momoshiki.
It would take a long time before Boruto and Momoshiki could reach that level of trust and understanding, given their history. Still, there’s always a chance that Boruto and Momoshiki will have a change of heart, especially in the face of powerful enemies like Jura and the rest of the Shinju Clones. The road ahead won’t be easy, but it presents Boruto with a new opportunity to grow stronger than anyone else.
