Boruto: Two Blue Vortex recently marked the conclusion of one of its arcs, and now, the series has marked the beginning of a new one that's centered around the likes of Shinju Bug. At the same time, fans also know that major battles will soon be fought against the likes of Jura and Hidari, but these battles will require the protagonists of the series, those being Boruto, Kawaki, Sarada, and a few others to be on the top of their game.
Boruto: Kishimoto Officially Confirms A New Otsutsuki-Level Ninja
There are many powerful ninjas in Boruto, but not many can be considered Otsutsuki-level.
Boruto Uzumaki, in particular, will have to fight against Jura, and fans are eagerly waiting to see him take part in exciting battles in the future. At the moment, Boruto Uzumaki doesn't have the power required to defeat the likes of Jura. However, Kishimoto and Ikemoto have already confirmed his next power-up that dwarfs the power of Kurama by far. As was confirmed in the last few chapters, Boruto Uzumaki struck a deal with Momoshiki, and if it pulls through, then Boruto will temporarily have access to the powers of the Otsutsuki, provided he gives his body in return. This new power-up will ensure Boruto reaches a new level of power, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see him go all out when the time to battle Jura comes.

Boruto Uzumaki's next big power-up in the Boruto series is already confirmed, and fans know what exactly he'll gain in the upcoming battle. As seen recently, Boruto spoke to Momoshiki Otsutsuki not too long ago, and in this conversation, he openly asked for his powers. Momoshiki holds tremendous strength in him, but given that he isn't one with Boruto, the latter doesn't get to use his powers. This is bound to change in Boruto later down the line, as fans know already, and the first steps towards it have been taken.

The strongest Uchiha has been revealed, and its power surpasses everything else seen before in Boruto.
In order to beat Jura, Boruto Uzumaki will gain the powers of Momoshiki Otsutsuki, using the Karma that he possesses. With these powers, Boruto Uzumaki will be at a level where he can fight Jura on equal terms. Not only that, but he will also be able to defeat Jura. The price to pay for this is also quite steep, however. Boruto Uzumaki will have to permanently give his body to Momoshiki, and that's a big risk to take.

Boruto's Powers Will Only Grow
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has already set up the rise of Boruto Uzumaki as the next strongest in the story. If Boruto permanently gains access to Momoshiki's powers, then he'll truly become the strongest in the world. Even the likes of Jura shouldn't be able to beat him then. Boruto would also be above the power level of Naruto Uzumaki's Six Paths Sage Mode, and this would be groundbreaking for him.
At the moment, however, Boruto is nowhere close to surpassing Naruto's peak. Still, he's taking a step towards it with each passing chapter, and it won't be long before Boruto officially surpasses his own father.
