After completing A Lot to Process, players will be able to start the next mission in The Fadefields, One Fell Swoop. This main mission in Borderlands 4 requires players to speak with Zadra, except that some players might encounter a glitch in which the step never progresses. If you're encountering the Talk to Zadra glitch in Borderlands 4, then check out the useful fix below, or continue reading on just to get the help you need for a full walkthrough of One Fell Swoop.
Talk to Zadra Bug Fix
How to Get Past the Talk to Zadra Glitch
The first part of the One Fell Swoop mission has players talk to Zadra. At first, she might be in an animation loop, so simply let her mess around on her computer screen until she walks down the stairs and stands between the two canisters containing Rippers. If this still has not fixed the progression of the step, then there's another fix in mind, and here's what you'll need to do:
- Start a New Vault Hunter save file and skip the Prologue
- Load into the new Vault Hunter and quit to the Main Menu
- Return to your original Vault Hunter and talk to Zadra
If this has not worked, then try a few more times. Gearbox is currently aware of the bug, so a fix is likely in the coming days. However, to avoid the bug happening, make sure to talk to Zadra immediately after finishing the previous quest, A Lot to Process.
Sabotage Sol's Production Facility
After speaking with Zadra, players will want to follow her to the exit of her secret base, where they are then tasked with traveling to Sol's Production Facility. This can be found just north of the base you are currently in, within the Dissected Paltaeu of the Fadefields. Once inside, take the door on the right and kill all the Order production line guards. After which, you can interact with a computer terminal at the northwest side of the room. Proceed through the facility and open the synth processor valve in a chamber in the next room, and then shoot it to destroy it. The next step is simply to return to the facility's main entrance and meet up with Zadra, who will access an elevator.
Activate Locust and Fight the Bio-Bulkhead
With Zadra, players will find an armored door that no bullet or fist can penetrate. Look above the door to find a vent that can be pulled with a grapple hook, and then jump through the vent to enter a lab. After killing the enemies found in the lab, you can access a switch at the south wall to activate the Locust containers. These Locust containers can be grabbed with the grapple hook, and thrown at the invulnerable white doors to open them. Simply take the Locust and throw it at the door, then throw another cannister at the southeast door in the same room as Zadra to proceed.
Following past the Vending Machines, players will enter into a boss fight with the Bio-Bulkhead. This enemy isn't as tough as he looks, but his mechanic is important. In order to damage him, players must throw a Locust cannister at him, which can be found at the central corners of the room. Doing so will remove his armor, and players can now shoot his health bar, which is yellow, meaning Corrosive and Cryo are super effective against him.
Help Rush and the Outbounders Destroy the Airship
With the Bio-Bulkhead defeated, continue through the facility and take the grapple points to race to the airship. However, when players reach it, it will fly off. Don't fret about the failed objective, as this is part of the mission, and there's no way to catch the airship in time. Simply travel back to the Outbounders HQ of the Launchpad and assist Rush in killing the Order troops that have arrived. Rush might go down in this step, so simply approach him and revive him to get him back on his feet.
With the Launchpad protected, return to the bunker and use a grapple hook on the vent and debris that blocks access to the Fast Travel station. Now, return to the surface and enter the airship via the orange portal at the southeast side of the Launchpad. Inside the airship, players will find a button that will reveal critical systems that can then be shot at. Once all 3 critical systems have been shot, exit the ship by jumping down from the central chamber, and you will have completed the quest.
Completing this mission will allow you to open Order Bunkers scattered around Kairos!
