During the Borderlands 3: Making The Mayhem E3 Coliseum panel, developer Gearbox showcased some new gameplay that focuses on one of the new Borderlands 3 character classes, Moze the Gunner. Not only did it showcase some of her and her mech Iron Bear's abilities, but it took a look at some of the environmental hazards and weapons. It is an impressive look for anyone interested in Moze and Borderlands 3 gameplay in general.
Notably, while this is the first detailed glimpse into Borderlands 3 gameplay for the character, Moze's skill trees were shown off online not to long ago. The below gameplay does take a look at some of her abilities like Iron Bear's mini-gun. Considering that each of her skill trees unlocks a unique Iron Bear weapon, it makes sense as to why Gearbox changed her from Moze the Bot Jock into Moze the Gunner, especially in the context of her official gameplay.
Furthermore, this Borderlands 3 Moze the Gunner gameplay showcases some of the challenges available in the game. Many will remember that Borderlands 2's challenges are quite extensive, and it seems like this will still be the case. Some of the challenges seen below include dealing incendiary damage, soaking up shield damage, looting certain rarity weapon types.
This also follows the official E3 trailer that gave a small glimpse into all of the characters operating in conjunction with each other, but it stopped short of an in-depth glimpse for any character. This Borderlands 3 Vault Hunter team E3 trailer did do much to hype the new Vaulter Hunters nonetheless and served as a good entry point for the latest Borderlands 3 details.
Gearbox did briefly address the only remaining and least-known-about Borderlands 3 Vault Hunter, FL4K the Beastmaster, during this E3 2019 presentation, and though the company did not showcase any gameplay, it did share a few details. It was revealed that FL4K the Beastmaster is voiced by SungWonCho (YouTube ProZD) and that his mechanical animals can be controlled and directed unlike the Borderlands 2 character, Gaige the Mechromancer.
Borderlands 3 is set to release on September 13, 2019, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
