The day has arrived in which gamers the world over are finally going to get their first official glimpse at the gameplay of the highly anticipated Borderlands 3. Prior to the official reveal, though, it seems developer Gearbox has been steering a leaky ship, as gameplay details about Maliwan guns have leaked and the full Borderlands 3 skill tree for Zane leaked.
The time for leaks is over now, as Borderlands 3 will be going live with brand new details in the coming hours. The official stream (seen below) will begin at 10 AM PT/1 PM EST, and it will hopefully answer some of the most pressing questions about the forthcoming looter shooter. For those interested in more information, it's worth mentioning that there will be a pre-show occurring 30 minutes before the official stream.
Furthermore, after the gameplay event ends, various content creators will be able to stream an early version of the game, with these streamers able to share their first-time impressions. It's unknown how much access they will have to Borderlands 3, but this post-show event could potentially reveal even more than the main program, especially for those eager eagle-eyed fans of Gearbox's looter shooter franchise.
Gearbox is also set to answer a least some of the most frequently asked questions. In a direct, Mr. Torgue-like manner, Gearbox shared some of these while hyping the Borderlands 3 event, putting the focus on the four new Vault Hunters, Borderlands 3 villains the Calypso Twins, the young girl bumping fists with Maya, and of course, how guns grow legs. Gearbox ended this explosive line of questioning by promising "to answer at least some of these...and lots more."
