How to Get GobbleGums in BO6 Zombies

In Zombies mode, you can unlock and earn GobbleGums through five methods: playing the game, leveling up, reaching higher Prestige levels, Exfiltrating on higher rounds, and purchasing GobbleGums from the store after Season One’s launch.

Play the Game for Random GobbleGum Rewards

In the official blog post introducing Zombies mode, developers stated that you can earn GobbleGums randomly by clearing enemy waves. There’s no specific formula for earning them, as the rewards are primarily based on RNG. Most of the time, you’ll receive the lowest-rarity GobbleGums, though.

The most reliable way to unlock more GobbleGums is by leveling up. In the Progression section of the Barracks tab, you can check which gums will be granted at each level.

Prestige to Get More GobbleGums

At level 20 of each Prestige, you receive a pack of three to five GobbleGums, with higher Prestige levels granting better ones. However, don’t expect more than a couple of Ultra (rarest) gum from these rewards, even at the highest levels.

Exfil After Round 15 to Earn Whimsical Gums

According to Treyarch’s Twitter post, successfully Exfiltrating from any Zombies map after round 15 gives you a chance to earn one to three Whimsical GobbleGums. These gums have playful effects that may not impact gameplay or stats but can spice up your experience.

Purchase GobbleGums via Microtransaction

Although GobbleGums were initially introduced as free-to-play items, they were later confirmed to be available in the in-game Store. So, one sure way to acquire them is through microtransactions. However, note that BO6’s store isn’t accessible yet, and you’ll need to wait until the game’s first season launches.

How GobbleGums Are Different in Black Ops 6 Zombies

GobbleGums, first introduced in Black Ops 3, return in Black Ops 6 with adjusted mechanics to better fit the Zombies mode. Here’s what’s changed.

  • Cooldown Timer: Instead of paying credits to get GobbleGums from the vending machines, which increased in cost each round , Black Ops 6 allows you to obtain them for free with a five-minute cooldown. This cooldown is machine-exclusive and resets at the start of each round.
  • Multiple GobbleGums: Previously, you could only store one GobbleGum at a time. In Black Ops 6, you can hold up to three and activate them simultaneously.
  • No Crafting: In Black Ops 3, you could craft high-rarity GobbleGums by spending Liquid Divinium at Doctor Monty’s Factory. In Black Ops 6, crafting is not possible, and GobbleGums can only be unlocked through gameplay progression or microtransactions.
