A game with many puzzles and even more secrets, Blue Prince is a roguelike that plays like a who-dun-it murder mystery combined with a touch of an escape room, or rooms in this case. It’s a great game that stays fresh between runs and offers the player something worth experiencing even after they’ve completed the game.
One of the more esoteric puzzles that players might encounter during their forage into the manor is the statue in the Cloister room. Reaching it seems impossible, but it can be easily achieved with the right knowledge.
This article contains minor spoilers about the discoverable content in Blue Prince.
Blue Prince: How To Solve The Music Sheet Puzzle (Secret Message)
In Blue Prince, Sheet Music can be found in four rooms, and each contains a piece to a Music Sheet secret message players can decipher.
How to Reach the Statue in the Cloister Room in Blue Prince
After you’ve entered the Cloister, which is a green room that costs 3 gems to draft, you’ll notice a small garden and a statue in the middle of the room. If you’ve already read the Gardener’s notebook, you’ll know that there is a way to reach that statue, though even the gardener didn’t remember how to reach it.
Players can increase the chance of drafting green rooms if they draft a Greenhouse earlier. You can negate the high price of entry if you encounter a Terrace prior to the Cloister.
All you need to do is interact with the base of the two pillars that are directly in front of the statue. These will open up a path for you to enter the small garden area, giving you access to the statue.
Blue Prince: How Long To Beat
The Blue Prince game length depends on how long it takes you to solve the game's many mysteries and perplexing puzzles.
Reward for Clearing the Puzzle in the Cloister Room
Players will get three things for clearing the cloister room puzzle.
- Firstly, you will get two digging spots that could prove valuable if you have a shovel.
- Secondly, there will be a note from Mrs. Babbage to Mr. Nogula, the previous gardener and groundskeeper, in which she tells him that she appreciates him taking care of the Cloister and that being generous is cheaper in the long run.
- Finally, the last and most important reward is the Allowance token, which gives the player 2 extra coins at the start of each day. This allowance token can only be picked up once and won’t appear in subsequent days, though the location might contain some other reward in its place if drafted again.
