In the puzzle game Blue Prince, you can find useful items strewn about the rooms you draft. Items like the magnifying glass, shovel, and compass will help you to find currencies, secrets, and more, but there is also a way to combine these items into new, useful contraptions.
One of the many contraptions you can make is the Power Hammer, a much stronger version of the hammer that can be used to break down walls in Blue Prince. If you want to make this item for yourself and break down all the walls you can with it, this guide is here to help.
Blue Prince: How To Unlock Curse Mode
If you want a bigger challenge in Blue Prince, you can start up something called Curse Mode, which makes everything much more difficult.
How to Get the Power Hammer in Blue Prince
There are several locations around the manor that have slightly cracked walls, and each of these can be broken with the right tool. You need to make the Power Hammer in order to smash through each of these, and that can only be done in the Workshop. This location is where you can make any of the eight Blue Prince contraptions by mixing other items together. For the Power Hammer, you will need the Broken Lever, the Hammer, and the Battery. Then, you can take all three of these to the workbench inside the Workshop and put them together.
If you are having trouble getting the Workshop to spawn, there are a few things you can do. The Electromagnet is a good way to get the Workshop to spawn, and if you have the Wrench in your inventory when you do, you can change the rarity of the Workshop to ensure it will show up more often in later days. You can also collect Ivory Dice from several of the rooms or use the 50-star Constellation from the Observatory to reroll your rooms.
All Power Hammer Breakable Locations in Blue Prince
There are a grand total of seven known locations where you can use the Power Hammer to break down walls. If you want to ensure that you get to see all the secrets hidden behind each of these walls, you will want to break them down as soon as you can.
The Weight Room
The Weight Room is a red room in Blue Prince that takes away half your steps. While it does have four doors in it, this room is still a rough choice to make. However, if you do have one, there is a breakable wall inside it. Simply hit the brick wall behind the hanging punching bag to find some secrets inside.
The Freezer
Inside the Freezer is a wall made of ice. There are several ways to take it down, including drafting the Furnace close by and using the Jack Hammer, but you can also break it down with the Power Hammer. There several items encased in ice in the Freezer that can be broken out with the Power Hammer as well.
The Basement
If you want to unlock a shortcut to the Basement area, you can use the Power Hammer to break down the wall of planks keeping you out. If you are facing the fountain from the front door, you need to head forward and a little to the left. There will be a staircase that goes down to the Blue Flame puzzle from Blue Prince.
Once you are down the stairs, turn to the right and look for a doorway covered in planks. This can be broken with the Power Hammer.
The Crate Tunnel
According to Forblaze on the Steam community page, there is also a breakable wall inside the "Crate Tunnel," but you will first have to move the crates out of the way to uncover it.
The Secret Garden
In the Secret Garden, there is a breakable wall on the right side next to the cranks and spinning weathervane. If you break it down, you'll find a whole new crank to open up even more of the Antechamber in Blue Prince.
The Greenhouse
If you get the Greenhouse, not only will you be able to find some gems from gem flowers if you have the water on, but you will also be able to break down the wall inside. This will turn the Dead End Greenhouse into a room with two doors.
The Underpass
Inside the room with the Chess Puzzle in Blue Prince, you can find a breakable wall on the right side. This has a secret hint to a puzzle behind it that you will need for later rooms.
