In Blue Prince, you can unlock more than 100 rooms that end up in your draft pool. This includes everything from a Kennel to a Trophy Room and everything in between; some of these need to be unlocked, and some are in your starting pool of rooms.
Complete Blue Prince Achievement Guide
To get every achievement and earn every Blue Prince Trophy, players must complete some of the toughest challenges in the game.
One of these rooms you can draft in Blue Prince is the Locker Room, and it hides some secrets. If you are confused by how the Locker Room works or are looking for a strategy for which lockers to open, this guide is here to help.
How to Get Access to the Locker Room in Blue Prince
In order to see the Locker Room in your pool of available floorplans in Blue Prince, you will need to first draft the Pool. The Pool adds several rooms to the draft pool: the Pump Room, the Locker Room, and the Sauna. Without the Pool, you will never see the Locker Room.
The Locker Room is a rare blue floorplan with two doors, one on opposite sides of the room. It spreads keys into other, eligible rooms (or the Conference Room if it is available). And it's a good thing it does; the Locker Room has seventeen lockers that can only be unlocked with keys. The lockpick does not work in it, nor do any of the other tools in Blue Prince.
What is in Each Locker in the Locker Room in Blue Prince?
There are three lockers in the Locker Room that contain messages. These never move positions, so you can avoid these once you have read them once. In the picture below, the lockers in green are the ones that contain the papers, and each one is included in the picture.
The light blue squares with the word "items" and the green squares are unlockable, while none of the others are. The light blue squares are randomly filled with consumables or other items. The list below is not exhaustive, but it contains most of what you will see in these lockers:
- Lockers can contain nothing
- Gold coins
- Gems
- Car Keys
- Running Shoes
- Fruit to give you more steps in Blue Prince
What Do the Papers in the Locker Room Mean?
The three different notes inside the lockers of the Locker Room refer to other puzzles in the house. The first letter is a handwritten note with information about the location of the lever to unlock room 46. The second is notes on the answers to the math puzzles from Classroom Grade 2, which shows you how to complete the dartboard puzzles in Blue Prince.
The final clue is a green card that states "Kirk Darren is a pseudonym." This is a reference to the Kirk Darren that is mentioned in the emails from the computer terminal in the Office of Blue Prince.
