Among the many puzzle in Blue Prince are the many safes you can find hidden throughout the Mount Holly Estate. By opening these safes, you will find red letters, gems, and sometimes other notable features, like a Puzzle Box. But to unlock safes, you need to find out each Blue Prince safe code.
Blue Prince: All Shrine Blessings
When you get the chance to draft a Shrine in Blue Prince, you can give the statue inside coins in exchange for buffs to get you further in the house.
In total, there are eight "safes" in Blue Prince that contain Red Letters: in the Boudoir, Drafting Studio, Drawing Room, Office, Study, Shelter, behind a red door underground. There is also a "safe" code required to access the Apple Orchard, which you should unlock first as it is tied to a permanent unlock.
This guide lists the location of every Blue Prince safe, and details how to solve each code for yourself alongside the correct answer for quick reference.

But some safe codes are incredibly obtuse, and without some help, it can feel virtually impossible to figure out all safe codes in Blue Prince on your own. The Boudoir Safe
The Boudoir is a corner Bedroom with two doorways, a bed, a nightstand/desk, and a mirror. Behind the mirror you will find one of the many safes in Blue Prince. To find the correct Boudoir safe code on your own, take a look at the photo on the nightstand/desk opposite the bed. You do not need a magnifying glass to solve this clue.

The Drafting Studio Safe
The Drafting Studio is a two-door Floorplan that allows players to add one of several special Floorplans to their drafting deck. In here, you will see a diorama with a safe. With a Magnifying Glass, zoom in on the safe and you will see that it can be unlocked.
To solve the Drafting Studio safe code, Blue Prince players must inspect the Calendar in the room, which should display the month of November and a specific number of objects in a picture of the Apple Orchard.

Drafting Studio Safe Code
The correct Drafting Studio safe code in Blue Prince is 1 1 0 8, a combination of November (the 11th month) and the number of gates around the Apple Orchard.
The Drawing Room Safe
The Drawing Room has three doorways and features a drawing of Baron Sinclair in the middle of the room. Look closely at the drawing, and you will notice that a candlestick in the background is tilted. Pull this candlestick to reveal the location of the Drawing Room safe.
To solve the Drawing Room safe code, Blue Prince players must take note of the number of certain pictures in the room – look for the ones that mark the subject's gait distance. Combine these numbers to figure out the date.
Drawing Room Safe Code
The correct Drawing Room safe code in Blue Prince is 0 4 1 5, a combination of numbers of pictures of a woman with a "small gait" (which sounds like small gates, as mentioned in the 44-letter picture puzzle) and the 15 pictures of men with a small gait.
The Office Safe
The Office safe can be revealed by turning a knob that is located within the Office desk. Pull the drawer open, and take note of the memo that highlights a book titled "March of the Count". Turn the knob to raise a bust of the Count and reveal the safe location.
To find out the code to the Office safe, Blue Prince players should think about what the note in the desk is hinting at. March, of course, is one of these hints, but take note of the number of Count busts in the room to complete the code.
Blue Prince: All Permanent Upgrades & Additions
There are four major permanent additions in Blue Prince and several minor permanent upgrades players can collect.
Office Safe Code
The correct Office safe code in Blue Prince is 0 3 0 3, a combination of March (03) and the number of busts of Count Isaac Gates around the room (03).
The Study Safe
In the Study, you will find a Safe just to the left of the entrance door. On the table in the room you will see a chess board with a single piece on it: a Black King on space D8.
To solve the Study safe code, Blue Prince players must convert the space that the Black King occupies on the chess board to a date.

The correct Study safe code in Blue Prince is 1 2 0 8, December 8th (from D8, the location of the King on the chess board).
The Safe Behind A Red Door
One of the most difficult safes to find is surely the underground Red Door "safe". The Red Door is sealed, by default, and can be found on the left side about halfway up the pipe towards the Inner Sanctum and the north Antechamber door lever.
To open the Red Door, you must power up the red power box in the Boiler Room by adjusting the pipe layout. This will disable the Security Door and the walkway to the other side of the Boiler Room.
Behind the Red Door, you will have to solve a large gear puzzle to get to the red door padlock, which leads to a room with a red letter, gem, and puzzle box. Turn the wheels to move the platforms so you can get to the area on the left as you look out the upper Red Door platform to get to this padlock. Just like all of the other safe locations in Blue Prince, you must figure out which date fits in this four-letter code.
Blue Prince: How to Reach the Statue in the Cloister Room
The small garden in Blue Prince's Cloister room is tantalizingly close, but there's no obvious way to get there unless you know the hidden mechanism.
Underground Red Door Safe Code
The correct Red Door padlock code in Blue Prince is M A Y 8, because 8 is the only number available in the last slot, and MAY is the only month that fits the first three slots with letters.
The Time-Lock Safe
The Time-Lock safe is an interesting one, and requires a completely different approach to open. This safe can only be found in the Shelter, an Outdoor Room you can only draft after unlocking the West Gate.
The Time-Lock Safe is the only one that does not require a code – you must figure out the current time and date and use your knowledge to set a time to unlock the safe via the nearby Terminal.
Time-Lock Safe Code
There is no correct Time-Lock safe code in Blue Prince. Instead, you must figure out the current date (November 6 plus your current Day count), and input a time into the Shelter Terminal that is at least one hour ahead of now. Because you can only select times in increments of one hour, round up, then add one hour. Then, simply wait until the safe opens.

In total, there are seven safes in Blue Prince – six of the seven are safes, while the "safe" hidden behind a Red Door is a padlock that blocks safe-like rewards.
